Kinangan Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Farmers Livelihood Association (KARBFLA) is one of the most active MSMEs in the province of Davao Occidental.

As active exhibitors in trade promotion activities, they regularly join local, regional, and even national trade fairs.

Their products include turmeric and ginger powder, lemon grass and coffee powder, and binagkal.

Let us make it a habit to support local—support KARBFLA.

As a kick-start activity for the year 2023 to incite the spirit of "Buy local, Support MSMEs", the Department of Trade and Industry Region 11, conducts the MTE 2023 Araw ng Dabaw on March 1-5 at Ayala Malls Abreeza Davao City.

Through its aim of promoting the local products while showcasing the skillfull and hard working hands of OTOPreneurs as the primary drivers of our economy in the province, the DTI Davao Occidental Program Management Office participates in this 5-day activity. The office served as the channel to expose the local products into wider audience while generating sales income for the MSMEs.

The DTI Davao Occidental Program Management Office, spearheaded by Ma. Joycelyn F. Banlasan Program Manager, conducted a seminar on Livelihood Skills Training on Fossilized Cacao Leaves to the selected youth of Barangay Bito, Davao Occidental, and facilitated by the selected DTI personnel. It is so timely that this month of August is the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan which activity is highlighted.

This course of action intends to empower our Youth organization to broaden their knowledge strengthen their skills by exposing and developing their potential, as well as by making them better prepared and more competitive.

Coffee products from Davao Occidental are now available at SM Lanang Premier Davao City.

To assist OTOPreneurs in marketing their products, DTI Davao Occidental Program Management Office officially launches today, November 22, 2022, the OTOPCarts located at the municipalities of Sta. Maria, Malita, and Don Marcelino.

These carts will serve as their local OTOP pasalubong centers showcasing OTOP Products in the province.

In line with the launching of the OTOPCarts, free coffee from Brgy. Sanghay, Bito, Demoloc, and Datu Danwata, and tilaweed fishballs from the SPAMAST Youth Entrepreneurs Association (SYEA), Youth Entrepreneurhsip Program 2021 Regional Pitching Competition Champion), will be served and will undergo a survey.
