Verse of the Day

The fruit of the Spirit refers to the characteristics that we should be expressing as sons and daughters of God. They are the evidence of the nature of God inside of us. As a Christian you should be loving, kind, patient, gentle, good, faithful, meek, joyful, and peaceful. We have the Holy Spirit as our guide who will help us make decisions that reflect this nature of God, in our daily lives.

James 4:14
[14]Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

We glorify God within our hearts daily to show respect and appreciation for His presence in our lives. We are lost and hopeless, wandering alone in this dark world without Him. God sent His son Jesus to light this broken world; His selflessness humbles us. We surrender our lives to His plan; He is our rock and our salvation. Praise the Lord!

We bow before God spiritually and physically to show reverence and respect; He is all-powerful, all-present, and all-knowing! He has the power to create heaven, earth, and our intricate bodies. He is present in every moment, through every struggle, and is always available when we call. He knows our past, present, and future; protects our spirits at all costs. We worship God because we respect Him; we choose to serve and love Him unconditionally.

The Bible says the first time God destroyed the earth by water and he promised to never do that again. The real meaning of the Rainbow. He went on to say, I will destroy it by fire the second time. I won’t even pretend I understand all of the book of Revelation, but I do understand quite plainly that I will spend eternity in Heaven. I have been hearing about the second coming of Christ and the events unfolding since I was a child. The "Mark of the Beast" Artificial Intelligence, microchips, can't buy or sell, no cash/digital currency, wars & rumors of wars, and total government dependency/control. Wake up.. It is here! Bible prophecies are being fulfilled right before our eyes! Oh what a great time to be Alive! No one can comprehend how bad it will be, but we see it happening, bit by bit, on the news and social media everyday. While the devil is preparing people for the Anti Christ, God is preparing people for the Rapture. I don’t know when the rapture will take place, but I do know that I’m not planning to be left behind when that trumpet sounds! I also believe right now that God is giving us a chance to repent and turn to Him. We need to get the Gospel message out! Until the good Lord calls me Home, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the one and only true Lord and Savior. Despite the fact that I am human, and I fail a lot and fall short of His glory, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
So if the Holy Spirit moves you and you’re not ashamed, just copy, and make this your status update. I’m a believer in God The Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit!

Read the Bible everyday

Lord, thank You for Your great mercy, by which You’ve rescued me from the fire. I pray that You would fill my heart with compassion for those who still struggle, still doubt, and are still lost. Use me as an agent of Your mercy, so that others might see Your love, know Your grace, and themselves be rescued just as I have been rescued. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Compassion makes a difference. As Christians, we must remember that we were once lost, strangers to God. But somehow, God’s mercy reached us and overcame our doubt. And now, we are bearers of this same mercy, so that we may be filled with compassion for those who still doubt. So that through our compassion, God’s mercy might reach and save others, too.

Lord, thank You for sending Jesus so that I may know life, abundant and eternal. Thank You for conquering death and making a path for me. It gives me great joy to know that You have secured my hope and set my feet upon this path. Please remain with me and walk with me, that I may have a foretaste of that eternal joy even now. In Jesus’ name, amen.

As people, we are all trying to find the path to something. Perhaps it is happiness or success that we seek. Or maybe peace or comfort. In Jesus, the psalmist foretells, we find the path to life. Through His resurrection, Jesus gives us hope for life beyond the grave. And not just life as we know it now, but a life filled with complete and unending joy because of what Jesus has done for us.

Father, thank You for Your presence with us. Your love and care for Your creation know no end. It brings me peace to know that You miss no detail and that nothing is too insignificant for You to notice. For I know that because of Your faithfulness and care, I will never be forgotten. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It’s easy to think of God as being distant and far off, too busy to notice the insignificant details of our lives. But God is infinite, so there is enough of Him to notice something as small and common as a sparrow, while still being fully attentive to you and me.

Dear God, I put my trust in you and you alone. Father, may I never stray from the path you have set before me. May my life be an expression of your love, your holiness, and your righteousness. Lord, I pray for any of my friends, family, and colleagues who have not known you yet. Father, may you help me minister to them effectively so that they receive salvation. May they see the error in their ways, O Lord, and may their hearts be convicted of their sin. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

It is considered a blessing when we do not have close companionship with those who oppose God. It does not mean we distance ourselves from sinners and unbelievers completely, no. We still have to pray for them and preach to them. But to avoid heeding the counsel of or closely affiliating with those who take delight in walking disobedience or doing wicked things, should be considered a blessing because we will be preventing ourselves from going through painful consequences.

Lord, sometimes I get distracted by the cares of life, and neglect the kingdom work that You have called me to. Renew my sense of urgency to proclaim the good news and share Your grace with others. Empower me to live in a way that always testifies to Your love and Your grace, so that You may draw others to Yourself through me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It’s easy to take our eyes off of eternity, and become consumed with day-to-day life. But Jesus reminds us that the things of this earth are temporary, here for a season and then gone in a flash. So let us prepare for Jesus’ return by living as His kingdom people now, doing good in His name, sharing His love and grace, so that when He comes, we are ready, and others may be ready, too.

As Christians, we are called to be careful and intentional about our path. When we seek God’s leading and discern our options with Spirit-provided wisdom, we save ourselves much trouble and aggravation. A mindful journey guards our lives by minimizing unnecessary temptation and providing sure, solid footing beneath our steps.
