Kisolon CES joins DepEdโs 236,000 Trees: A Christmas Gift for Children
With the leadership of the schoolโs principal Maโam Elvie M. Magbujos, 10 teachers together with SELG Officers and YES-O Officers led the tree planting activity.
This tree planting activity is important to provide a safer and cleaner environment for the nezt generations and instill a sense of environmental stewardship among the young minds.
Fun fact:
Did you know that trees reduce the effects of Climate Change?
A mature tree can absorb more than 48 pounds of carbon dioxide each year, removing and storing the carbon while releasing the oxygen back into the air. In Chicago, trees remove more than 18,000 tons of air pollution each year. -MNHS

โThe simplest way to make sure that we raise literate children is to show them that reading is a pleasurable activity. And that meansโฆ finding books that they enjoy, giving them access to those books and letting them READ them.โ -N. Gaiman
