-All students from Brgy. Canlanipa are very much welcome to join. And he/she must only be a HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT. Then he/she must take a photo of his/her recent certificate attached his/her COMPLETE NAME, DATE, GRADING LEVEL AND NAME OF SCHOOL within S.Y. 2019-2020 and send to our official page- SK Brgy. Canlanipa and fb account SK Canlanipa until may 15, 2020 only.

2. TIKTOK CHALLENGE:
-We are inviting ALL KABATAN-ONANS OF BRGY. CANLANIPA to join this challenge, here are the guidelines how:
*Create a Tiktok Video Challenge with your own creativity at your home either alone, duo or a family group with the theme: "EPEKTO NG HOME QUARANTINE SA'YO CHALLENGE" with a maximum time of up to 2 mins. only. "Because of the first positive case of COVID in our Region, the Regional Task Force on COVID-19 One Caraga Shield has declared the entire CARAGA under the Enhanced Community Quarantine effective April 6, 2020."
Significant policies under ECQ:
 Mandatory Home Quarantine. Everyone will be required to stay at home and only those with quarantine pass issued by the Barangay shall be allowed to go out from their homes for the purpose of buying basic commodities or to do essential transactions such as going to banks, medical facilities for health check-up and other similar activities. ONLY ONE QUARANTINE PASS PER HOUSEHOLD.
 Public transportation shall be suspended and the business operations of establishments shall be temporarily suspended except those providing essential services and basic commodities such as groceries, food, water, bank and money transfer facilities, fuel, medicines and medical supplies.
 Private and Mass public transportation vehicles are no longer allowed for the entire duration of ECQ except those specifically used by exempted personalities. For single motorcycles only one person, the driver only is allowed- NO ANGKAS POLICY- shall be implemented.
 Work from home shall also be implemented except those workers who function as frontliners and responders to COVID-19 situation and other emergencies.
 The 24-hour curfew to minors, senior citizens, and vulnerable groups shall also be imposed.
 There is also an exemption for those who are required to report for work during the enhanced community quarantine, especially for government employees and employees of essential business establishments.
 Mandatory wearing of face masks and observe Social Distancing.
 Our Public Market shall open at 5 AM and shall close at 5 PM. Marketgoers shall follow protocols set by authorities and market administration.
All violators will be apprehended and be placed temporarily inside the provincial sports complex for four (4) hours.
All barangay officials shall be held liable if they fail to implement the measures for the enhanced community quarantine in their respective barangays.

DOH Center for Health Development- Caraga
DOH Caraga Reports First Confirmed COVID-19 Case
TODAY · PUBLIC
As of April 6, 2020, at 6:00 AM today, DOH Caraga confirmed that a sample from a 68-year-old, male, with pre-existing medical condition, Filipino, Patient Under Investigation (PUI) tested positive for COVID-19 after results received this morning from the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC). This is the first confirmed case in the region.
The patient has a history of travel from the National Capital Region (NCR) last month and went back home in Butuan City last March 12. Upon arrival, the patient was tagged as Persons Under Monitoring (PUM) following home quarantine procedures. During the quarantine period, the patient developed COVID-19 signs and symptoms. The patient is currently admitted at Caraga Regional Hospital in Surigao City and in stable condition.
As of this time, the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit initiated the contact tracing of persons who interacted with or were in close proximity with the patient including the patient’s flight details.
“I would like to remind the public that this is something that we need to take seriously. Follow the policies set by the government and by DOH. Remember to practice physical distancing, hand hygiene, cough etiquette, boost your immune system, and avoid sharing unverified news,” Regional Director Jose R. Llacuna, Jr. said.
Meanwhile, DOH Caraga has also provided technical assistance to Butuan City government in the conduct of the rapid testing (Immunologic Method) for the PUIs admitted in the city hospital annex or the designated PUI Center. There were reactive samples found. These tests, however, must be confirmed using the COVID-19 RT-PCR Test which is administered by the identified sub-national laboratories. Rapid test kits will measure antibodies present but not the viral load which is why a confirmatory RT-PCR based test is still required. The samples from the rapid tests taken will be brought today to SPMC for confirmatory testing.
As of April 5, 2020, yesterday, the regional office has already tallied a total of twelve (12) PUIs where four (4) are currently admitted and eight (8) are on strict home quarantine. There are still pending lab results.
“I also urge the public that unless necessary, please, Stay at home. COVID-19 cannot last without a host. Break the chain of transmission by staying at your homes,” the health chief concluded.
