MSU Students Financial Assistance Update ✅
The assistance has been forwarded to Palawan Express Pera Padala just this day for processing. Those who have submitted their authorization letter and copy of ID last Feb. 01, 2024 will be prioritized to claim their cash assistance. Those who submit their requirements just this day will be processed next week.
Take note, the amount 5000 will be deducted P86 pesos for palawan processing. You will claim an amount of P4,914 for your cash assistance.
Do not go to Palawan Pawnshop unless you will receive a text from palawan pawnshop to claim your assistance.

As the 18-day Campaign to End VAW culminates, the Provincial Committee on Anti-Trafficking Violence against Women and Their Children (PCAT-VAWC) conducted the 2022 LCAT-VAWC Awarding to those LGUs who reached the MATURE AND IDEAL Level of Functionality. This activity graced by Hon. Eddie D. Gokiabgkee Jr, Provincial Vice-Governor, Atty. Rise Faith Recabo, Provincial Administrator, Hon Georgia D. Gokiangkee,Municipal Mayor of Claver, Hon. Jovymarie C. Villazon, Municipal Mayor of Placer, Kareen O. Ugay, Muncipal Administrator of Municipality of Bacuag, LSWDOS and the Kalalakihang Tapat sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyon sa Pamilya (KATROPA) new set of officers for their induction, headed by the KATROPA President Mr. Eusebio B. Lisondra,Jr of the PEEDMO.
The recital of the Safe Spaces Pledge conducted and facilitated by Atty. Rise Faith Recabo,the Provincial Administrator.
The LCAT-VAWC assessment will be conducted yearly by the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Team to provide the LGUs and other concerned entities with a tool to assess the functionality and strenghten the LCAT-VAWC as the primary mechanism to address Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and VAWC.
The functionality of LCAT-VAWC is assessed based on their Organizations, Meetings, Policies,Plans and Budget and the Accomplishment.

Training Workshop on the Enhancement of the Comprehensive Local Juvenile Intervention Program (CLJIP) of the Provincial Committee for the Protection of Children (PCPC) facilitated by the Regional Juvenile Justice and Welfare Committee (RJJWC) Caraga. This activity aims to accomplish a CLJIP PLAN as basis of the interventions in the program implementation for the welfare of children.

In line with the celebration of “18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women”, the Provincial Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women (PCAT-VAW) commenced the celebration with a Motorcade and Zumba to End VAW participated by National Government Agencies; PNP, BJMP, MARITIME, PPA, CSWDO, CSOs, partner stakeholders, and the Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte.

Conducted Deradicalization Program to Former Rebels who voluntarily surrendered to the fold of government and preparing them to return to a peaceful life.

November 6, 2023: Panatang Makabata led by the Child Representative during Flag-raising Ceremony hosted by the Provincial Manpower and Training Center–an active member of the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children.
November 10, 2023: campaign was observed within the premises of Provincial Capitol and hereafter conducted distribution of flyers on the rights and responsibilities of every child. First batch of offices were documented in this campaign signifying their support.

July 21, 2023. Participants were the MLGU and the Brgy Council,BCPC and VAW Desk Officers of the 3 coastal barangays of LGU Taganaan.
July 18-19,2023. Conducted initial interview and psycho-social debriefing to Former Rebels who decided to return in the fold of the government.They are beneficiaries of Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), a package of cash incentives meant to entice members of a communist terrorist group (CTG) to surface, return under the folds of the law, and start a peaceful life with their families as they will be reintegrated in their respective community.
The E-CLIP is a flagship program of President Duterte’s administration and continued with the new administration of President Marcos and fully supported by our Provincial Governor Hon. Robert Lyndon S. Barbers that aims to help members of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF), and Militia ng Bayan (MB) to restore allegiance to the Philippine Government.
The Social Worker paid a courtesy call to Police Captain Aireen D. Viador of Alegria Municipal Police Station.
April 26,2023. The Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Trafficking-Violence against Women and Thier Children Inter-agency Monitoring Task Force (RIACAT-VAWC IMTF) conducted functionality assessment to the PCAT-VAWC of SDN.
The LCAT-VAWC assessment serves as the basis for policy and capacity development to strengthen the capacity of LGU in combating Trafficking in Persons and eliminating violence against women and children.
It also assess the level of functionality of the LGU as to the implementation of the related programs and services,whether the level of implementation is Basic,Progressive,Mature and Ideal as the highest rating level of functionality.
Afterwards, the team also visited the WCPU of Surigao del Norte Provincial Hospital (SDNPH) as one of the mandatory members of the committee.

Successfully facilitated the First Quarter JOINT MEETING of the Provincial Committee on Anti Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (PCAT-VAWC) and Provincial Council for the Protection of Children spearheaded by PSWDO as committee's secretariat. The attendance of our stakeholders greatly contributed to the pursuit of the meeting addressing gaps and providing innovative interventions for a quality and prompt response of social protection services.
Thus, we are immensely grateful for the unwavering support of Governor Robert Lyndon S. Barbers in materializing our endeavors for the welfare of every vulnerable sector–children and women of this Province.
