Our business’ target markets are families and individuals who would love to explore new kinds of delicacies that would excite their taste buds. It solves the people’s craving for something unique, and new. We chose these customers since we would be able to offer them just that. We would also be able to give our customers a new insight about another country’s culture
III. Products and Services
Our restaurant will mainly serve pasta with a Filipino twist. Our first dish is an oil-based pasta called Pasta ala Vigan. It contains onion, garlic, roasted tomatoes and the most important ingredient Vigan longanisa. It is a dish filled with delight having the taste of the famous Viganlonganisa blending in with the Italian styled dish perfectly, leaving you wanting for more. Or if you feel like indulging yourself with a creamy pasta dish with a Filipino taste our tapa pasta or we would like to call it tapasta would include our homemade carbonara sauce with secret herbs and spices and with tapa sliced thinly, succulent a dish that is a must try. Our next dishes are both desserts. We call it “Turon Split” because it’s like a banana split but with turon. To make turon, you have to wrap banana and langka together with a lumpia wrapper. And Vanila Ice cream with Buko pandan. We are also going to be selling two appetizers, Chili Cheese sticks and Sisig meatballs. Chili Cheese sticks is composed of Green Chili pepper(Sili pang singang), cheese and wrapped in a lumpia wrapper. Sisis meetballs is composed of flour, egg, breadcrumbs and sisig. Our product is different from others because it is a combination of Filipino and Italian food. We would also be serving cold beverages like bottled water. Food Business Model
Our business is a casual restaurant because we serve moderately priced products in a casual athmosphere. Our business’ service system is convetional because we cook our unprepared products onsite and serve them over a short period of time. We also have use table service because we have waiters who asks for the customer’s order and give them to the sous. When the food is cooked we serve it directly to the customer. Our restaurant offers a relaxing and stress free ambience because we play classical and soothing music from different artists all around the world that will help our customers relax and enjoy their meal. Revenue Model
Our concept is the idea of merging two different cultures together and we will sell that idea by surprising our customers that this idea is not bad after all after tasting our food products. We offer unique food choices that our customers have never tried before. The experience is out of the ordinary and it will excite our customers. Ultimately, our customers will also see the similarities of the cultures and particularly, their food. This business has the potential for growth as there are plenty of Italian and Filipino food that we could research and experiment with. We are not only limited to pasta as we are open to ideas of combining other foods that we feel would bring the same unique experience to our customers. Our competitive advantage is that we provide our customers new experiences and insights with every dish that we serve. It will urge them to come back for more and have new meals for a delightul experience. We can advertise our restaurant to make it more successful. We can advertise around an area to get more people to try our food. To do this, we have to investigate our area by asking people in it if they are willing to try Pedro and Luigi’s. We will use social networking sites like Twitter or Facebook since many people use them. Most of all, we will make our restaurant comfortable and appealing to all so that they come back to eat more of our food.
