BJJ Diary 64/365: Saturday beginners class training with these ladies at :) Found more things to work on. This Jiu Jitsu is so hard but fun. Had to leave early though to bring Zeeka to competition class at San Juan :) Happy Saturday! 🫶

Celebrated Papou’s birthday then visited Tito Dan and Tita Niña’s place today! So beautiful! 🥰 To add some chaos and imperfections, Yani and Pablo took most of Noah’s toys out of the closet and stuck lots of play dough on the floor. 🙈🙈🙈

Zeeka ( ) won gold today at the 2024 Jager Jiu Jitsu Gi and No - Gi Asian Open championships. I’m so happy for her since this is the first time she got gold in a local competition (after 3 attempts). 😄😅
Grabe this kid! She’s super consistent and really works hard. Nakailang iyak narin yan during training, she doesn’t show it lang when she’s frustrated. But even with that, she still shows up the following training day and works at improving again.
Thank you so much to Coach and Coach for the guidance, the push and motivation and the patience. Thanks to Coach .anton who patiently helped them also and guided them also. Thanks to assistant coaches for helping Zeeka and the other kids out so that they always strive to be better.
And lastly, thank you to Giana, Zeeka’s bff and training partner who always pushes her and tests her limits. Congrats to you, too, for winning gold! Super nice to see the both of you growing together in this sport! 🥰)

BJJ Diary 60/365: Back from our company celebration and straight to training. :) Attended Coach class today at 🫶 Learned a lot of new things today and met new people! Squeezing in a lot of mat time this week because i’ll know i’ll be busy next week. 😁 Oh, please pray that my daughter, Zeeka, wakes up to a relaxed and clear mind on Saturday for her competition 🙏 Thanks, everyone!
