UNITED FOR NIR. Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito, Special Assistant to the President Antonio Ernesto Lagdameo, Negros Oriental Gov. Manuel Sagarbarria, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, and vice governors Jaime Reyes and Jeffrey Ferrer (l-) met to discuss the Negros Island Region bill today, September 21.

Zubiri on his page said:

Good news! Nagsama-sama po ang ating mga Governors at Vice Governors ng Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, at Siquijor, para sa ating panukalang Negros Island Region!

Ang layunin po nitong NIR bill ay ilapit sa taumbayan ang ating serbisyo publiko under one administrative region, para hindi na nila kailangang bumiyahe sa Iloilo o Cebu upang makakuha ng serbisyo sa gobyerno.

Maraming salamat po sa ating Chairman of the Committee on Local Government, Sen. JV Ejercito, at kay SAP Anton Lagdameo, Gov. B**g Lacson at Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer ng Negros Occidental, Gov. Dili kini ang unang higayon nga may nakuha nga sama niini ka dagko nga isda sa lungsod sa Toboso.

to October 1, 2023 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Makati, Metro Manila. Municipality of Toboso will be promoting its local products. Please do visit BOOTH NUMBER 54. See you there Toboseños!

The long weekend you've been waiting for.

To all the ASPIRANTS for Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on October 30, 2023, please be informed that this will be the schedule of filing of Certificate of Candidacy of every barangay. This is to avoid possible overcrowding at the limited space of Comelec- Toboso and to ensure an organized and orderly reception and acceptance of your Certificate of Candidacy.

Note that we did not schedule any barangay on September 1 and 2, 2023 to give an ample time and allowance for those who will have possible corrections in their COCs.

Here are some of the important REMINDERS:
1. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE Basis;
2. Bring your own ballpen;
3. Ensure to fill out the correct form;
4. Enter necessary details in your respective COCs;
5. Only Aspirants/Authorized Representative shall be allowed to enter at our Office due to the limited space of our office. Supporters, family members, etc. shall wait outside.
