Yes, it's a cliche. But it doesn't mean it's not true. Buying time does, in fact, cost money.

You can:

💸 Pay someone to look after your children so you can focus on your work.

💸 Hire someone to clean your house for you so you don't have to.

💸 Or, pay for a few days on an island where no one gets to bother you.

But the phrase "time is gold" isn't just about all these.

It can also say "you can't go back in time"

Sometimes, we spend time thinking...

💭 About the things that have happened in the past

💭 About missteps and regret missed opportunities

Of course, there would be:

2️⃣ No way to find out what's going on in the world at all times

3️⃣ No events pages for your company's functions and activities

And then there's the business. If companies didn't have social media accounts:

1️⃣ How would they reach their customers?

2️⃣ How would they promote their products?

3️⃣ How would job seekers find them?

No one will certainly know what to do with themselves when that day comes. Without social media, we'd probably still be trying to figure out how we'd manage it all! 😵

It all started with "Facemash"—a Harvard student project. It was an online database that enable the students to assess the charm of other Harvard students. 🥰

After receiving a lot of criticism, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder, decided to put his skills to good use. He came up with a means for people to connect with each other online by creating profiles and "friending" one another. As a result, Facebook was established. ✨
