Of the 136 RT-PCR test results received by DOH Caraga today, 16 of the 25 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are from Butuan City.

According to DOH Caraga, Butuan City now has cases of local transmission as 3 of the confirmed cases have no travel history to places with confirmed cases nor were exposed to known positive cases.

To date, LGU Butuan has administered Rapid Diagnostic Tests to 5,885 individuals including LSIs, ROFs, frontliners and contacts of COVID-19 cases. Those whose results were positive were subjected to RT-PCR Testing by DOH for confirmation.

In view of the COVID-19 continuing pandemic, the Commission has resolved, through CSC Resolution No. 2000596 promulgated 16 June 2020, to CANCEL altogether the conduct of the following civil service examinations via Pen-and-Paper Test (PPT) for CY 2020:

21 June 2020
- Fire Officer Examination
- Penology Officer Examination
- Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination

9 August 2020
- ​Career Service Examination-PPT (Professional)
- Career Service Examination-PPT (SubProfessional)

11 October 2020​
- ​Intermediate Competency on Local Treasury Examination
- Pre-Employment Test
- Promotional Test
- Ethics-Oriented Personality Test

On the other hand, the suspended 15 March 2020 CSE-PPT shall be reset in 2021. A separate issuance on this matter shall be released in due time.

Sa ilalim ng batas na ito, libre nang makukuha ng mga first-time job seekers ang mga sumusunod na dokumento:

✅ National Bureau of Investigation clearance
✅ Barangay clearance
✅ Medical certificate from a public hospital
✅ Birth certificate
✅ Marriage certificate
