"𝙊𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙡𝙙, 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬." — 𝘈𝘯𝘹𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺, "𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘖𝘶𝘵 2"

Many of us are controlled by 𝗔𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 because of what the future holds for us, some are controlled by 𝗝𝗼𝘆 because they've reached college level at last, while few are controlled by 𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 because they moved far from home to pursue their education and experiences homesickness. But 𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, always remember that letting go is always hard at first, but embracing the present is worthwhile in the end.

Just like what Anxiety has said, "Out with the old, in with the new." We need not only to face the present, but also to 𝚕𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝, 𝚋𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚎𝚒𝚣𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚊𝚢. Worry not of the future that is about to come nor the past that is supposed to be behind us all, but focus on what's really important – the present.

𝐂𝐇𝐚𝐒𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬! Tomorrow will be the most important day in our academic life because it's 𝐃-𝐃𝐚𝐲! We are most excited to welcome you once again on the columns of Humanities. 𝘚𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘏𝘢𝘚𝘚 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙎𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨!

As the end of the last days of our summer vacation are coming near, we cannot really ignore the bittersweet fact that we will be in school once again to pursue our dreams, facing the terrors and nightmares of sleepless nights, tiresome days, and excruciating agony of studying for hours after hours.

At some point, we get anxious of what awaits us inside the classrooms of CHaSS Building — will it be laughter with friends, tears because of low scores, or anything in between? These can really unmake a person, and just like Joy said, we need to let go of these anxious thoughts. Sit back, enjoy your remaining summer vacation, and always think positive because like you always do, you've got this!

𝐂𝐇𝐚𝐒𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬! Two days left and we will see one another again within the hallways of CHaSS Building; to our 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗛𝗮𝗦𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, we are delighted, excited, and thrilled to welcome you to the columns of Humanities.

Your blood, sweat, and tears now come to fruition as you step on the podiums, vividly revisiting the magnificent work you have done for four summers. After going through the thick pages of college, you are now set to build yourselves as catalysts of change. After climbing the hilly hallways of sacrifices and challenges, you are now set for a new stage of your lives. College has never been easy. It's a nightmare inside a dream that you've always wanted to achieve—an eavesdropping light you're trying to reach because you know it will lead you somewhere.

And here you are, proudly standing, with no regrets about the choices and decisions you have made along the way.

As you embark on a new journey, we wish that the learning, skills, and abilities you acquired in your tumultuous term as officers will forever stay in your pockets and will help you build the life you've always desired. May this remarkable moment serve as an avenue for you to strive, rise, and prosper.

While we say farewell, we know this isn't the end, but a beautiful transition. We have no doubt you'll continue to make a difference wherever life takes you, because one thing is for sure, you've made an impact and will make more.

Once again, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Student Council offers sincerest gratitude for your dedication, leadership, and tireless service. We'll miss your presence, but we'll be cheering you on every step of the way!
