LegMates, today is the commencement of the 2024 ALMS election where each shall exercise their right to suffrage as enshrined in the provisions of the constitution and by laws of our organization.

In the same vein, having adopted a democratic system of governance, students have the right to elect who will be at the helm of the organization and to choose who they see fit for the elective positions. It is in this very process of electing our officers that we, as students can transform and elevate our organization and propel it to greater heights and steer it to victory.

Legmates, the 2024 ALMS Election is finally here!

On the 26th of June, don't miss out on your chance to be a part of sparking change within our program. The 2024 ALMS Election is your opportunity to shape the future of our community by casting your precious votes via the established online voting platform. Legmates, your vote matters, so make sure you exercise your right to vote and have your voice be heard. This is a reminder that the Election process will be conducted on an online voting platform. All members shall cast only one vote on the said platform. The online form shall also collect personal data [which shall extend to the email, name, and ID number] to all bona fide members of ALMS who will exercise their right to suffrage.

The voting hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM only. Hence, make sure to cast your vote before the set time ends.

The Association of Legal Management Students at CSU Andrews, in partnership with 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 - 𝗧𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗼 𝗬𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴, collaborated with the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, and the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗣𝗠𝗙𝗖 to execute the third "Bata, Bata, Ika'y Malaya" project.

This initiative, held in celebration of Independence Day and the World Day Against Child Labor, aimed to provide gift-giving and pampering services to child laborers profiled by the Department of Labor and Employment in Rizal, Cagayan. The children participated in various activities. At the same time, the Commission on Human Rights facilitated a seminar for the child laborers and their parents/guardians, addressing the importance of children's rights and the detrimental effects of child labor.

Through this collaborative effort, the project sought to raise awareness, promote children's well-being, and empower the local community to stand against the drastic rise in the number of child laborers.

This prompted the reset of the electoral process and the reopening of the filing for the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) of aspiring officers of the Executive Council of the Association of Legal Management Students (ALMS).
