What is the importance of TAC (OTP) and its purpose?

Transaction Authentication Code (TAC) or OTP used to authenticate an online banking transaction. This is a six digit code sent by the Bank via SMS that should be keyed in before a transaction can be processed. (Sender ID should be from MaybankPH)

What are MSOS (OTP) & CVC/CVV and its purpose?

Maybank Secure Online Shopping (MSOS) or OTP is used to authenticate transaction on 3D secured merchants, while Card Verification Code (CVC) or Card Verification Value (CVV) are the three digits printed on the signature strip at the back portion of your credit/debit card. This is being required by online merchants to establish that the user has the credit/debit card in his/her possession during online purchase.
