"Bloom and grow"

In celebration of the end of Mother's Month, I made this piece.

Since mother is a very complicated word, with a variety of meanings, I wanted to summarize it all into one drawing. This is of course inspired by my own mother.

•In my personal opinion, a mother is someone cultivates you, who nurtures you, in different kinds of ways, there is no limitation to that. You don't necessarily need to come out of their reproductive organ for them to be your mother'. That's why I think growing a plant and having a child are very similar in many ways, metaphorically speaking. That's just a short explanation of something I can't really put into words. Just the drawing explains it all.
