We'd like to thank Planeta Cares for pledging to donate a part of the plastics that they collected from Brgy. San Antonio in Pasig City to us!
Every single plastic counts since it's one less plastic for the oceans โป๏ธ๐
Did you know we generate an average of one pound of trash per person per day? Waste consumption went up by 30% this year solely because of our online purchases.
50% of the waste in our landfills are food waste, while most trashes that are washed away to open oceans are plastic. These are things that we are targeting this month on Basura To Ayuda!
You can take one step closer to reducing your daily waste by donating your clean and segregated waste and ecobricks to us tomorrow!
However, the work shouldnโt stop there. Letโs try to slowly nip the problem in the bud and be more conscious of our consumption in the future.
Basura To Ayuda this Friday!
We will be having three (3) different booths per type of waste โ plastic, used beverage cartons, bokashied food waste โ so please segregate accordingly. You may refer to our previous posts for the in-depth guidelines.
Ayuda exchange:
- 3kg of Plastic / 1kg rice
- 2L bokashi ipa / 1 bucket bokashi food waste donation
