Extraordinary people had times when they wished they had ordinary lives.

But God's plan was different for them. They became a living awesome testimony to numerous people.

That's what denying yourself and carry your cross means. Anyone who wishes to live in God will no longer live an ordinary life.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.(Matthew 16:24‭-‬25)

Most people's mistake is setting their mind on things here on earth. Jesus consistently showed us to think more of heavenly things. Greater is the gain when we gain more of spiritual possessions.

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.(Colossians 3:1 NIV)

Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.(Jude 1:22‭-‬23)

It was your faith that healed you.

There is power in partnerships.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
