Managed IT Services provider in Las Vegas, Nevada is looking for a reliable and upbeat individual to perform full-time IT Systems Administrator duties. This critical long-term position works closely with our Management Team so a positive attitude and ability to multitask are a must.

Reports to: Director of Technical Services

Position Responsibilities:
• DAILY time entry accounting for at least 9 hours
• Documentation of Client Networks
• Small Projects
• Assist Sr. Engineers on Larger projects
• T&M service requests
• Backup Maintenance
• Configuration of standard email clients including Outlook, iOS, and Android mail clients
• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and customization of MS Office Suite applications per customer's preferences
• Understanding of and ability to install, configure and test workstation hardware including video cards, NICs, sound cards, hard drives, and Smartphones
• Network Server – Experience preferred with Windows Server
• Configure file, print, and remote access services
• Administration, including add/remove users and groups, configure file permissions, check event logs, configure and restore from backup
• Administration of enterprise e-mail application, including add/remove users and group, configure folder permissions if applicable, forward mail to other accounts, and add aliases

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Experience required with Windows desktop operating systems
• Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
• Experience with routers and firewalls
• Experience with Terminal Services
• Understanding of the relationship between switches, patch panels, and connecting nodes to a network
• Understanding of DNS services
• Working Knowledge of Firewalls – Datto, Sophos, Sonicwall, Fortinet
• Working Knowledge of Wireless Technologies

Credentials and Experience:
• Systems Administrator with at least 2 years experience (MSP experience a huge plus)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience – Switching, VLAN, Routing, Firewalling Support
• Minimum 2 years experience - Server Hardware Technologies (CPU/RAID/Storage) Support
• Minimum 2 years experience - Data Backup and Recovery Support, Corporate Antivirus Support, VPN Connectivity Support
• Has at least one certification is preferred. The following certifications are preferred: MCITP, MCP, CCNA/CCDA/CCNP, Security+, Network+, Apple
• Solid dependable Systems Administrator, follows directions and maximizes billing opportunities
• Consistently receives good client feedback
