👉 Ruth's husband died but still she remains loyal to both Naomi, her mother-in-law and to the God of Israel. During undeserved suffering, she trusts the Lord to provide His best for her. THe Lord then graciously blesses her with a kinsman-redeemer named Boaz which later on redeemed her and the family property. Ruth is a great grand-mother of David which is the lineage of the Messiah. Ruth is from the Hebrew word for companion.
