SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE)

Based on PAGASA Weather Advisory No. 14, the Shear Line is forecasted to bring moderate to heavy rains over the province until Thursday, November 23, 2023. In view of this, CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS, BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM THIS AFTERNOON, NOVEMBER 21, 2023, UNTIL THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2023.

Official Announcement from the ASMC Office of the President:

In light of the ongoing Nationwide Transport Strike (Tigil-Pasada) and after careful consideration and consultation with our stakeholders, including parents, the ASMC Council, students, and members of civil society, we have made the decision to suspend regular in-campus classes for the Basic Education Department today, November 20, 2023. However, college students will still have classes today.

The safety and well-being of our students remain our top priority, and we believe that this decision is necessary to ensure their welfare. We understand the potential disruptions caused by the strike and want to ensure that our students can continue their education without compromising their safety.

To ensure continuity in their learning, classes will proceed today through remote learning methods such as online or modular learning, whenever feasible. We are actively working with our dedicated team of educators, including class teachers, college instructors, professors, advisers, principals, and deans, to provide clear instructions and communicate the necessary information to our students.

We kindly request all students to be patient and await further guidance from their respective educators. We understand that these circumstances may present challenges, but by working together, we can adapt and overcome them while prioritizing the academic progress and safety of our students.

Please remember to keep yourselves safe and take necessary precautions during this time.
