Kinetic Slides
Helping real estate companies raise millions through institutional pitch decks and presentations.
This was the first time we went MIA, all because we went to a country restricting social media and emails.
We apologize to the Cornerstone Capital Investments team for making them feel anxious about their slides. We certainly did not want you to worry, and we did our work when we could not reach out because of the restrictions.
But we are grateful that our hard work still paid off and our clients were able to fully subscribe their deal within 8 days! š®
--------------
Just like our client, a lot of deal sponsors downplay branding, much more in their slide presentations. But the reality is, investors look at the full package.
Content, visuals, and communication.
All these three breed trust when done strategically.

Itās funny how people lie to us about how many deals they close in a year.
I dont mean aiming for 4-6 deals a year is bad, after all we encourage people to have SMARTER goals.
In reality, itās tough to close a deal especially with the interest rates and regulatory changes last year. If syndicators close a deal last year, itās probably their first for the year.
Not for many of our clients.
Iām talking about Lone Star Capital, RockBridge Investment Group, DSP Real Estate Capital, URS Capital Partners, and Massive Capital.
They had multiple deals closed last 2023, and it would be unbelievable if people still doubt them. I believe itās not luck but pure hard work and dedication.
Thanks, Brighton Capital for trusting us to build your pitch deck.

Are you ready to level up your investment summaries with digital brochures?
Using digital brochure platforms has numerous benefits, like accessibility from any device, cost-saving, eco-friendliness, and a more interactive experience for your audience. With interactive elements like multimedia, animations, and links, you can keep your audience engaged and interested.
If you're a real estate pro, here are 3 popular digital brochure options to consider: Issuu, Flipbuilder, and Yumpu.
They offer features like hyperlinks, customizable templates, and page-flipping animations. These platforms will help you showcase your properties or projects in a visually appealing way, and set you apart from the competition.
See example of a digital brochure we helped Justin Grimes create. Check actual link in the comment.
Q: Do we create digital brochures?
A: Yes, and No.
Yes, because we build investment summaries and save them as pdf. No, because we don't upload pdfs on digital brochure platforms in behalf of our clients.
How does a General Fund differ from an Investor Package?
A General Fund Deck & Investor Package have different objectives. A General Fund Deck gives a top-level look at a real estate fund, showcasing its strategy, past performance, investment criteria, & future goals to market the fund & attract potential investors.
An Investor Package, on the other hand, provides in-depth information on specific investment opportunities within the fund, including investment thesis, market analysis, financial projections & other crucial details. The goal is to give investors all the necessary info to make informed investment decisions.
To sum it up, a General Fund Deck markets the fund, while an Investor Package details specific investment opportunities.
We helped URS Capital build their General Fund Deck for various multifamily syndications in New York. Book a call if you need help creating one.
An investment summary is NOT a pitch deck!
The two serve different purposes in the investment process.
A pitch deck provides a high-level overview of the opportunity in an engaging and persuasive manner, aimed at securing funding from potential investors. It highlights key elements such as market analysis, business model, team, financials, and more, in a visual format.
In contrast, an investment summary delves deeper into the details, offering a comprehensive overview of the investment opportunity. It provides more information and context, serving as a reference document for investors considering an investment. An investment summary offers a more in-depth look into the market, business model, team, financials, and other key elements.
We created one for Viking Capital. It is for a specific property called Crossing At McDonough. See below.
In summary, a pitch deck aims to persuade while an investment summary aims to inform and provide a deeper understanding.
Whether pitch deck or investment summary, we at Kinetic Slides can help you.
We had the privilege of working with the fantastic Baluch Brothers on their real estate pitch deck.
Our mission was to paint a picture of the real estate investment opportunity being presented to potential investors. We made sure to hit all the highlights, from the market analysis to the company overview, so that investors can get a bird's eye view of the opportunity. . And of course, we didn't leave out the rockstar team behind the project and why they're the perfect fit to bring it all to life.
The goal of this deck is simple: to get investors excited about the opportunity and secure their support in forming a group or pool of investors for the company.
We had the privilege of creating a speaker presentation for Iven Vian, Co-Founder of Anthem Capital, and the goal was simple: inspire the audience to both partner with the company and support the Anthem Impact Foundation.
As a presentation design agency, our mission is to bring your message to life with visuals that pack a punch. And when it comes to inspiring presentations, we've got a few tricks up our sleeves.
Here's what we did for Iven:
1. Used images that tell a story - we went for shots that evoke strong emotions and connect with the audience, like family photos for our military audience.
2. Created a consistent look and feel - every slide was on brand, thanks to a consistent theme that used color, typography and other design elements.
3. Made smart use of negative space - by keeping things uncluttered and clean, we were able to direct the audience's attention where it mattered most.
So, are you ready to give your presentations the extra oomph they deserve? Book a call with us and let's bring your message to life!
How a custom pitch deck can increase the chances of closing deals.
A custom pitch deck can:
1. allows the syndicator to effectively communicate the key points and benefits of the investment opportunity in a way that is memorable, relatable, professional and appealing.
2. make the project stand out in a crowded market and attract potential investors.
3. establish the brand, marketing and convey credibility which are key factors to attract potential investors.
SO, how can you make your pitch deck customize for your audience?
Here are five tips you can customize your pitch deck:
1. Answer your audience's needs: Understand your audience and tailor the pitch deck to their needs, interests, and level of knowledge about the topic. Help make the pitch deck more relatable and engaging for them.
2. Use data visualization: Convey key information and benefits of the investment opportunity in a clear and compelling way. Use charts, graphs, and other forms of data visualization to make complex information easy to understand.
3. Tell a Story: Create a narrative that captures the audience's attention and makes the investment opportunity more relatable and memorable.
4. Use Branding and design elements: Establish a consistent look and feel to establish the brand and marketing of the real estate project, making it more appealing to potential investors.
5. Include case studies and testimonials: Provide evidence of the effectiveness of the investment opportunity to instill confidence in potential investors and increase the chances of closing a deal.
Attention all real estate syndicators!
Want to make sure your pitch deck stands out in the crowd?
A professionally designed pitch deck can help with that. Here's how:
1. Clarity and organization: Make sure your pitch deck is easy to follow and understand
2. Visual appeal: A well-designed pitch deck can make a lasting impression
3. Credibility: A polished pitch deck can convey a sense of professionalism.
We attended the Marketing Conference last month and met Guy Shtaigman, the founder of GS Enterprises, a business consulting & business development firm focused on helping pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
We asked about what's special about the UAE market for investors.
Accordingly, the UE market is unique and special in many ways. Compared to other markets around the world, it requires a lot of money but also has strict regulations that products must meet.
In this market, there is a strong desire to be first and have the best products. It's not just about having a good product but competition is fierce and you need to be prepared for a tough market.
7 Presentation Mistakes that are Killing Your Brand
I got the chance to be on a panel together with Venkat Shankarnarayan, Nikita Prokhorov to speak to leaders from the healthcare, finance, law, marketing, and internet industries. It makes me think that even the biggest leaders acknowledge that they might be doing a few presentation mistakes that are detrimental to their brand.
Thanks to Venkat Shankarnarayan and Nikita for being my colleagues during the fireside chat.
I trimmed our list to these seven items but I welcome ideas in the comment.
1. Not starting out with the end in mind
Trying to make your presentation without knowing the objectives that it should accomplish for your brand would lead to a weak introduction & CTA. Not knowing how you want to start and end would likely end in a weak presentation no matter how insightful your points are.
2. Having NO idea about your audience
If you have no real insight on who the contents of your presentation are aimed at, there is every possibility that it will not be good enough to engage with them.
3. Disregarding the importance of visual communication design
Not every presentation needs slides. But when needed, they are meant to complement the content, not just to make it pretty. One of the big mistakes speakers do is to cram too much information on their slides. This leads the brand to be perceived as unprepared and unqualified. Especially for pitch presentations, investors do not invest in teams they perceive as unqualified.
4. Not setting up the context/story for your presentation
In order for you to get your audience to engage with your presentation, they need to have an idea of why you are saying what you are saying. The last thing you want to see are faces that do not relate to your speaking points.
5. Making assumptions instead of stating facts
Especially for pitch decks, unless your investor audience are not critical about your claims in your competition slide, you won't get funding with only assumptions. Daymond John hates pitches that claim to not have any competition. The reality is there is always another brand that is an alternative to the proposed product or service. It may not be the same thing, but it can be an alternative that can evolve and can kill your startup business.
6. Distracting visual elements
This can be in the form of your mannerisms, unnecessary slides, and distracting animations. An effective presentation is simple and clear. Often, these extra elements are enough for you and your brand to be perceived as unprofessional and incompetent.
7. Being unprepared
Our audiences have expectations that must be met to enhance brand equity and trust. The moment your slides do not work and you are lost in the game, or the moment you we're not able to provide answers to questions, you are losing credibility.
I'd love to know your thoughts on what are the deadly presentation mistakes even the big leader do.

5 Tips to Kill Your Next Pitch (5/5)
TIP 5: Paint Their Part
Letās say you get nods for your idea. Tons of yes from your vision. Whatās next?
Once investors open their minds, DO NOT let that door close. Continue to lead the path.
Let them know their part by telling a story. Let them feel youāre solving a problem. Le them desire to be part of that solution while growing their money.
Who can say no to that?
At the end of the day, there are two things we canāt say no to - money and purpose.
5 Tips to Kill Your Next Pitch (4/5)
TIP 4: Show Your Wins
Thereās no such thing as winning in secret in pitching.
Your wins deserve a spotlight in your pitch ā theyāre credibility boosters.
Your success stories validate your authority. Your wins reduce doubt.
It gives your investors confidence that you can deliver.
Use your past achievements to your advantage. Show them what you can bring to the table.
As the saying suggests, if youāve got it, flaunt it!
5 Tips to Kill Your Next Pitch (3/5)
TIP 3: BUILD UP YOUR WHY
Tell a compelling story about how you were able to come up with a solution to solve a real-life problem.
What makes your solution special? Why is it important for you?
Answering these questions (and possibly being vulnerable) can make a huge impact on your relatability especially if you tell it from your investors' perspective.
Investors can feel your conviction to your solution. The moment they sense any doubt you have on your offer, they are already thinking of the next opportunity after yours.
5 Tips to Kill Your Next Pitch (2/5)
TIP 2: PICTURE THE COMPETITION
Investors only partcipate in a deals that appear less risky for them. Saying there's NO competition would imply that you have not done your research.
Come prepared with 1-3 competitors and their weaknesses.
Reassure your investors that you have what it takes to beat the competition with your unique strategy or offer.
5 Tips to Kill Your Next Pitch (1/5)
TIP 1: Kow your actors
Your investors are the main characters in your pitch.
They resonate with your message better if the message is structured in their perspective.
Make your pitch relatable to them.
Always proud of people who nail their capital raising and who invest in their branding.
Can't help but smile every time I see them use our slides.

Hi friends! Can you tell Iām a little excited? If we havenāt met yet, Iām Kevin, Owner and Creative Director of Kinetic Slides. I started as a one-man team 2 years ago and now we are a team of nine. It feels like I just blinked those two years away.
Despite all of the chaos during the past years, it became apparent to me that companies with intentional vision would not care about Covid---they pursued their deals and continued to raise money and bring value to their investors. I honestly did not feel worried about the niche I chose. Real estate definitely rocks!
I want to thank everyone of you who supported me all the way. To all our loyal clients who are excited to refer us to anyone looking for a professional slide design, THANK YOU!
To the Freelance Movement Tribe members for always showing me what it's like to dream.
To my rock star designers and team members, you are way better than I am and I am grateful that you are my partners.
To my family and friends, thank you for all your prayers and support that allowed me to leave my corporate job and pursue my dream of helping real estate deal-makers raise millions for their deals.
Above all, thank you, Lord---You always leave me speechless!
