AMERICAN, 2 OTHERS ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL DRUGS

On August 27, 2024, at around 9:24 in the evening, an American National was arrested by the Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) of the of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI and Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group Special Operation Unit XI at Diamond Avenue, Executive Homes, Pampanga, Davao City.

The subject of the buy-bust operation was identified as James Curtis Hill, 74 years old, single, American and a resident of the said place. Hill was arrested by PDEA Agent who acted as poseur buyer for selling one (1) small self-sealing transparent plastic sachet of suspected dried ma*****na leaves worth Php 1,000.00 and one (1) THC V**e worth Php 6,500.00.

His cohorts, Diana Rose Laniba and Ethel Grace Fantinalgo were likewise arrested.

Seized during the operation were one (1) cartridge of suspected THC V**e, two (2) pieces sealed bottles with suspected ma*****na oil, one (1) piece large self-sealing transparent plastic sachet with suspected ma*****na leaves, twenty-two (22) pieces self-sealing transparent plastic sachets with suspected dried ma*****na leaves and the buy-bust marked money.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.

Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C.- HCDC President held at 6th Floor, Conference Room, Holy Cross of Davao College, Sta. Ana Avenue, Davao City.

The MOA signing was witnessed by Dr. Teresa P. Fabiania- Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mr. Arvin V. Timbang- Program Chairperson, CCJE- BS Criminology, and Ms. Sheryl J. Urdaneta- Head, Center for Linkages Internationalization and Language Studies along with the Criminology interns.

The partnership aims to provide Criminology Interns a platform to learn firsthand from the experienced Drug Enforcement Officers and Personnel in the Regional Office.

VLOGGER/INFLUENCER ARRESTED FOR SELLING MJ LEAVES AND OIL

More or less twenty thousand pesos (Php 20,000.00) worth of ma*****na dried leaves and ma*****na oil were seized during the drug buy-bust operation conducted by joint elements of the Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI and National Bureau of Investigation XI SEMRO on August 16, 2024 at around 10:45 in the evening at Surf Shack Restobar, By Pass, Maa, Davao City.

The subject of the operation was Christ Briand Pahamotang Oncada, 28 years old, single, and a resident of Barangay 76-A, Davao City. Oncada was arrested for selling Php 2,000.00 worth suspected ma*****na dried leaves and ma*****na oil to PDEA Agent who acted as poseur buyer.

Also seized during the operation were thirty-eight (38) self-sealing transparent plastic sachets with suspected dried ma*****na leaves, fifteen (15) pieces spray bottles with suspected ma*****na oil, one (1) piece plastic bottle with suspected ma*****na oil, one (1) cling wrap with suspected dried ma*****na leaves and the buy-bust marked money.

Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against him.

ENFORCERS SHUT DOWN DRUG DEN IN DAVAO CITY, 3 OTHERS ARRESTED

Four (4) were arrested and a drug den was dismantled by the Drug Enforcement Officers of Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI together with National Bureau of Investigation XI SEMRO and Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit on August 15, 2024 at around 7:00 in the evening at 142 Mabini-Artiaga Street, Barangay 33-D, Poblacion, Davao City,

The subject of the buy-bust operation and the drug den maintainer was identified as Raul Silma Mag-aso, 48 years old, single, and a resident of the said place. He was arrested by PDEA Agent who acted as poseur buyer for selling one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known as “shabu” weighing more or less one (1) gram worth Php 12,000.00.

His drug den employee, Pastor Moscare Jr., and drug den visitors Norlita Mag-aso and Percival Mag-aso were also arrested.

Seized during the operation were ten (10) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu in different sizes weighing more or less twelve (12) grams with estimated value of Php 81,600.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust marked money.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.

REGIONAL TARGET LISTED DRUG PERSONALITY AND PARTNER ARRESTED IN B.E. DUJALI BUY-BUST OPERATION

Drug Enforcement Officers of Davao de Oro and Davao del Norte Provincial Offices of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI in collaboration with Davao Norte Police Provincial Office and B.E. Dujali Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation and resulted to the arrest of the Regional Target Listed Drug Personality on August 13, 2024, at around 9:30 in the evening, at Purok 4, District 3, Barangay Tanglaw, B.E. Dujali, Davao del Norte.

The subject of the buy-bust operation was identified as Leonilo Pusta Partosa @ Bolongkoy, 40 years old, and a resident of Purok Mauswagon, Barangay Cuambog, Mabini, Davao de Oro. Partosa was arrested by PDEA Agent who acted poseur buyer for selling one (1) piece medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as “shabu” weighing more or less ten (10) grams worth Php. 90,000.00.

His live in partner, Rhea Jane Tabuclin was also arrested for conspiring with each other in selling illegal drugs.

Seized during the operation were two (2) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet with suspected shabu weighing more or less forty-two (42) grams with estimated value of Php 285,600.00, drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust marked money. The vehicle they used in their illegal drug transaction was also confiscated.

Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 26 (Attempt or Conspiracy) Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.

PDEA-PNP CRASHES DRUG DEN IN DIGOS CITY, 6 DRUG SUSPECTS ARRESTED

A drug den was dismantled and six (6) drug suspects were arrested by the joint elements of Davao del Sur Provincial Office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI together with Police Regional Office XI, Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office and Digos City Police Station on August 12, 2024, at around 11:00 in the evening, at Purok 7, Barangay Aplaya, Digos City, Davao del Sur.

The target of the buy-bust operation and the drug den maintainer was identified as Shiela Mae Villaber Puertos @ Em-Em, 19 years old and a resident of the said place. Puertos was arrested by PDEA Agent who acted as poseur buyer for selling one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known as “shabu” weighing more or less one (1) gram worth Php 10,000.00

Her cohort in maintaining the drug den Floyd Rique Inoncian, drug den employee Abdul Nasser Macarampat and drug den visitors Ramil Geral, Lucy Dela Torre and Kinhar Villanueva were present and caught in the act by the operating team having a shabu session were also arrested.

Seized during the operation were eight (8) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu in different sizes weighing more or less fifteen (15) grams with estimated value of Php 102,000.00, four (4) pieces small sized transparent plastic sachets with suspected dried ma*****na leaves, several empty transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu residue, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust marked money.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.

Agents of Davao del Norte Provincial Office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI led by IAV MILDRED D ROMERO, MSPM together with Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group, Philippine Coast Guard Southeastern Mindanao and Tagum City Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation on August 10, 2024, at around 12:27 in the morning, at Purok Macopa, Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

The drug den owner and the subject of the buy-bust operation was identified as Mariveth Ilog Baogbog @ Mayet, 43 years old and a resident of the said place was arrested after selling one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known as “shabu” weighing more or less one (1) gram worth Php 10,000.00 to PDEA Agent who acted as poseur buyer.

Her drug den employee Marino Baogbog and drug den visitor Vincent Yuson were present and likewise arrested.

Seized during the operation were two (2) medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu weighing more or less ten (10) grams with estimated value of Php 68,000,00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust marked money

August 9, 2024- PDEA Regional Office XI led by DIR III NARAVY D DUQUIATAN, Regional Director, PDEA Regional Office XI signed the Memorandum of Agreement between Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board XI represented by DIRECTOR BONITO A LLANOS III and Regional Taxi Operators' Association XI represented by Mr. Ryan T Sia held at LTRFB Regional Office XI, Libby Road, Bago Gallera, Davao City.

The Partnership recognizes the vital role that the Taxi industry plays in our community and aims to ensure that only licensed and non-drug dependent Public Utility Drivers are behind the wheels of the taxis.

This partnership aims to empower Taxi Operators and Drivers to be proactive partners in our fight against drug-related crimes.
