DILG Iriga Contact Tracing Team extends its contract for the 3rd time together and bonus is, we added people from our team.
Unlike other,municipalities and cities..DILG Iriga CTT did not hire new contact tracers, we even added and rehired a few.
The secret is the working environment w/c promotes FUN at work. Everything was handled well under the leadership of our diligent,considerate,understanding,cool and handsome Team Leader.
We had rough times, but we learned a lot from it.

Contact Tracing is not an easy job, but it's not that difficult. An effective CTT should be someone sensitive, someone who knows how to consider both mental and psychosocial health and well being of a person. A good listener and comforter, Someone who just don't collects data but can encourage an engaging conversation.
A lot of people may not know this, but in Contact Tracing "WORDS MATTER"
Everything that was mentioned above defines someone we know. The Pride of Iriga City, Our beloved Mayor Madel Yorobe Alfelor. She encompasses all the traits and abilities of and ideal CTT. She is the Team leader of ll CTT'S combined, doing it for the welfare of our fellow irigueños. She is working late hours,even almost midnight just to help all CTTs. She is hands-on and is able to guide everyone fo a smooth contact tracing sessions. She's genuinely hooked and goal oriented in fighting Covid-19. That's why she is deeply affected when cases goes up and when people misbehaves.
We can Thank you enough for going EXTRA MILE and always dedicating your time with US. Anyone who works with you are lucky. And we would wnt to count ourselves in. We, the DILG CONTACT TRACING TEAM appreciates everything you do. We do, we really do.

LOOK: In response to the increasing cases of Covid-19. We took the Initiative to refresh our learnings and Strategized the future Contact Tracing Activities by a group discussion agreeing on Action Plans and things that we need to do differently.
Doing such, helped us realize the things we missed and need to change in order for us to be more effective yet efficient Contact Tracer.
Reading and Asking questions is a must, but doing a Contact Tracing Simulation is a PRO.
We came up with a different (realistic) scenarios,guided by the Close Contact Profile Form, we did brain storming and discussed every possible questions we need to ask, bit by bit..piece by piece.
We are Contact Tracers from DILG and we will do everything to provide quality service. We started by having a harmonious relationship among all the Top 25 CTT, accepting indifferences and failures. We also did an Open Talk about the Achievements and Struggles that we encountered so far.
It's a worthwhile activity. Moving forward we will make this a weekly habit. ensuring consistency and improvements among all Contact Tracers.
