CPSC ROTC Unit joins the International Coastal Clean–Up (ICC) Day under Proclamation No. 470, “Declaring The Third Saturday of each Year as the International Coastal Clean–Up (ICC) Day in the Coastal Shores of Balbagon from Sitios Tinago to IRI.

Attended by 540 Cadets and 10 NCOs with Orson E. Sabuga, the NSTP Coordinator, and Sir Apag from 1005th RCDG, the tactical NCO. Others present include Sgt Gomonit, Tamon, Lopena, Jamito, Pinedo, Bautista, and Lagrada.

The event began with a presentation on environmental advocacy, focusing on the importance of the marine environment, its current status, problems, and dangers, as well as the role of youth in creating, preserving, and defending the environment (in general).

Mr. Orson E. Sabuga, the NSTP Coordinator, underlined that carrying out this activity benefits the audience or the Cadets' security in having access to rich and clean marine resources rather than his time or generation.

This initiative was realized with the partnership with the Central Student Government Officers spearheaded by Lee Vincent Estano, Governor of the Institute of Arts and Science. Barangay Chair of Balbagon, Hon. Jaime Maestrado, expresses his support by allowing the NSTP ROTC Unit to conduct this activity in Barangay jurisdiction.

One unified goal. One unit.
