there will come a time when we will sit down beside each other at the end of the day.

there will be no baths to run, no stories to read, no tuck ins and bedtime cuddles to be had.

we will sit in the silence. our home, once filled with chaos, now quiet and still.

our eyes will meet, and we will say,
"we did it, we raised them."

our babies.. now grown. ♡
