Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac - Personnel from the Training Analysis Center (TAC) participated in the conduct of Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) CY 2024 at the Training and Doctrine Command Philippine Army.
The drill began with a siren signaling an earthquake, prompting personnel to perform the "duck, cover, hold" technique and evacuate to an open area with their arms above their heads, carrying Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK). These kits contained essential medical supplies, ensuring prompt treatment of minor injuries to prevent infection and further harm. Afterward, MAJ REAGAN B MENIL (MI) PA together with SMS Marife A Duldulao (AGS) PA accounted for all personnel to ensure everyone's safety, identify those needing immediate assistance, and allow for a thorough evaluation of the drill's effectiveness.
The drill provided a crucial educational opportunity, reinforcing earthquake response protocols, evacuation procedures, and safety measures. This exercise not only improved TAC's preparedness but also bolstered community resilience, emphasizing the center's dedication to protecting lives and critical infrastructure during seismic events.
