Do you do it cram it all into one marathon session and end up completely drained at the end of the day?

Even when I'm about to sleep, my brain's going 1000 miles an hour giving me bullet point after bullet point of topics to create content for.

This is how you can be a badass creative. 👇
Back in college, almost all my literature professors drilled into our heads this rule to take advantage of creative freedom.
Yes, you want to be as creative as you can.
Yes, you’re overflowing with amazing ideas.
And, yes, you want to stand out.
But, here’s the truth: if you randomly break the rules just because you want to, you’re only going to create ineffective and confusing stuff. 😖
Whether it’s for copywriting, graphic design, or some other creative endeavor, this same rule applies.
So what should you do then?
Start with the basics. Learn all the rules and once you already have a good grasp of them, you can start experimenting and breaking them.
It usually involves thinking outside the box, challenging conventional practices, and finding unique and innovative ways to deliver your message and engage your audience.
The magic of creativity lies in striking a balance between personal creativity and clarity.

READ ‘TIL THE END 👇👇👇
When creating branded content for a client, my biggest struggle is when I don’t have a lot of information or context about what they want me to write about.
So I’ve learned to be patient or find ways to improvise (AKA read their minds, lol).
As a copywriter, I’ve also learned to read between the lines and dig deep so I can uncover what they’re trying to say. All so I can say it well when I write.
👉 NO MIND-READING NEEDED
Last week, I finished writing a short 7-chapter ebook where I highlight the importance of a Brand Story, along with a business owner’s input in creating branded content.
The workbook contains a series of questions about your brand, your audience, your offers, and your content marketing efforts. All designed to bring out all the story ideas you can create magnetic content around.
This ebook is tailor-made for:
✨ Business owners seeking to refine their brand identity and streamline content creation with ease
✨ Freelancers tired of endless back-and-forth with clients, craving a seamless understanding of brand, offers, and more
Get ready, because this ebook will:
✨ Help you craft a compelling brand message, serving as a go-to resource for you and your team
✨ Empower you to create targeted content that resonates with your audience
✨ Guide you in identifying content pillars and sparking creativity whenever you write
No one ever has to be a mind reader anymore, I promise.
Anyone wants first dibs? I’m releasing it at an introductory price of ₱150 (roughly $2.69).

Hi, friends! Happy Saturday!
Since I’ve had a pretty great week, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is out, and my birthday’s coming up 🥳, I’m looking for 3 people in my network to share the good energy with.
Here’s who I’m looking for:
💟 you have operational businesses that are 3 months to 3 years old but have INACTIVE or INCONSISTENT digital assets like social media pages, email platforms, or websites
💟 you are either service-based or product-based
💟 you struggle with writing copy or creating a content strategy to market your business
💟 you want my help to get back on track (gonna do it pro bono, of course ☺️)
If this is you, please shoot me a DM. I’ll share with you all the details!
I’m so excited about this! I’m in the early stages of developing a new offer.
Thank you so much, friends!!!
PS: I’d appreciate it if you tag your biz friends too!
Every. Single. Time. 😂
This duality is so weird to me.
I can go eight hours coming up with creative ideas and spewing a thousand words into a blank Google Doc, but I’ll always, always forget something silly like my Instagram password, or where I put my keys, or even if I’d had lunch already. Lol.
The simplest thing you can do to grow your brand is to know which stories to tell.
People trust a brand if they know who they are, what they do, and what they stand for.
Even in real life, in human relationships, you are won over by someone's stories.
Think about it for a minute...
You probably like hanging out with someone if they tell the best stories and make you feel something - whether it's joy or calmness, or like you NEED them in your life.
There are four core stories that you should be telling to gain your audience's trust. Check out this post to learn more!

In case some of you haven't seen my Story, I've revamped my website!
I've been procrastinating on it for MONTHS, thinking that I didn't have the bandwidth to create my own website copy and design it the way I want it to. I had so many excuses: I'm too busy, I'm too tired, I have writer's block.
But then I was bored today and I decided to play around on Canva.
And boy, oh boy, look at what happened.
As I was playing with the design, the words just flowed out of me. Magic, I'm telling you.
While I'm planning on doing more with my website (ahem, blog posts and a digital product shop), I'm happy sticking with Canva for now.

Fun fact: I’ve loved stories since 1999.
From the moment my dad began reading storybooks to me while I was still in my mom's belly, my love for stories began. I know this because I stumbled upon a treasured tape recording of it years ago.
Turns out, whenever Papa read me a story, I was eagerly kicking, brimming with excitement as he brought all those stories to life.
And when I started dipping my toes in writing stories on my own (I think I was 8 or 9 years old then), I learned that my dad was a writer himself. He penned a heartfelt poem for me on the day of my birth, and he dabbled in news and creative writing too.
I suppose it was inevitable that I inherited his big love for reading and knack for writing. Soon, our favorite way to spend quality time together became talking about books and binge-watching films.
After graduating with a degree in Literature, I moved over to the business side of writing. Four years later, I have served hundreds of clients in the Philippines and from all over the world.
I help my clients tell their brand story so it truly matters, so their customers will care about building a relationship with them, and so their love converts into a sale. Essentially, I write impactful content for social media platforms, email campaigns, and websites.
I'm right where I'm meant to be. I've never had a calling more powerful than to be a writer. There's no doubt about that.
Are you looking for something to help you realign your mindset?
We’re almost halfway through the year and it’s when we can be a little overwhelmed with life. Trying to make ends meet and keep up with our busy schedules can be mentally, emotionally, and physically draining.
Personally, when I’m feeling a bit low, I like to go to Pinterest and look for inspirational quotes that will help me feel powerful and motivated to keep going or to get back into the zone.

I helped a client reach 202k accounts on Instagram and gain 1.2k new followers. 🥳
I spent months working with this business coach, crafting content that resonated with her audience and making sure that it perfectly captured her brand voice.
And you know what? It paid off big time!
Last April, we hit our goal of 200k Instagram accounts, and gained 1.2k new followers in the process.
I know exactly what types of content her audience likes to see, and I know how to bring my creative visions and her branding to life in all the content I create.
In simple words…
I have content marketing magic. Lol. 🧞♀️
So, yes, I'm pretty proud of myself.
Helping a client reach such a huge audience is a major milestone for me, and I can't wait to do it again and again!

Have you ever heard about EMOTIONAL MARKETING?
If you haven’t yet, it is basically a marketing strategy that ensures that your audience will notice, remember, and make a purchase of your product or services, by tapping into their feelings.
So, why is it so important to tap into our audience’s feelings?
Selling, especially, is emotional. You want to tap into your audience’s feelings because people buy because they feel something.
Let’s try to view things from a consumer's perspective…
Some time ago, I saw a TikTok video that explained how not applying sunscreen can be harmful in the long run. Although I knew sunscreen was important for my skincare routine, I didn't use it regularly. After watching the video, I became worried about the consequences of not using it. Luckily, by the end of it, there was a recommended affordable and highly-rated sunscreen, which I ordered. Later, I realized that the video was shared by the same company that sells the sunscreen.
From this, we can clearly see how smartly this company tapped into my emotions by sharing FACTS about the possible consequence of not taking care of my skin which caused me to TAKE ACTION and buy from them.
One of the best ways to make an emotional connection– and honestly my personal favorite, is through STORYTELLING.
Stories are an amazing way to make your audience FEEL… You can either make them feel happy by sharing your success story or your wins, empathetic by sharing your mishaps or struggles, nostalgic by sharing childhood favorites that you’ve recently rediscovered, or even powerful by sharing affirmations.
Our emotions play a great role when we are making decisions. We shouldn’t underestimate its power in marketing.

Attracting the right audience and creating valuable content >> hundreds of likes and follows.
Now don't get me wrong, audience reach and engagement are important if you are trying to grow your brand, BUT you have to make sure that you are attracting the RIGHT people.
We often become obsessed with getting more likes and shares. However, we need to understand that those numbers don't define our WORTH and SUCCESS.
The success of our brand should be more about the QUALITY of our content and the IMPACT it creates on people's lives.
We should focus on creating content that is authentic, valuable, and has the power to inspire others. We should focus on reaching and attracting the right people because that's when the magic happens.
So, let's shift our focus from likes and shares and concentrate on creating meaningful content that can make a difference in the world.
So, how do you make sure that you don’t fall into the trap of vanity metrics?

To my fellow Queens,
Women’s Month may technically be ending, but it doesn’t mean that you have to stop celebrating yourself!
See, one of the reasons why I’m doing what I’m doing is because I want to help woman-led brands speak up. I want to help women find the words, raise their voices, and tell the stories of how they strive to make an impact.
I want to help make sure that people hear you.
So, I want you to celebrate yourself every day.
Celebrate your wins… big or small, the lessons you learned, your family, that cat that approached you on the street, your coffee for tasting so damn good. Celebrate you… for being brave, for being capable, for being vulnerable.
Being a woman is hard, so never let anybody tell you that you are not capable or that your voice is too small, or that people aren’t listening. You are everything you need to be – and the right people love you for you.
So from one queen to another..
Cheers to all of us for being badasses, not just in business but in life. 🥂
Also, share your favorite quote or power move made by a woman in the comments. May it be personal or by someone you look up to! I’d love to read them!

👏 YOU ARE YOUR BRAND 👏
If you know me, then you know that I’m vocal about the things I value.
I value rest and this is why I respect downtime and don't buy into the whole "hustle culture" thing anymore.
I value the power of words and that’s why I’m a writer.
And I value values, lol. I am a strong believer that my brand should reflect my values. So everything that I do — the content I put out, the way I interact with my team, and my work ethic — should reflect that.
I found that values help A LOT when a brand wants to attract its ideal audience. When you share pieces of your values online, people are more drawn to you.
But, the trick is to SHOW your brand values through the STORIES you tell rather than just saying that you value so-and-so.
This allows your audience to empathize and connect with you.
When your audience sees that your values are aligned with theirs – and that you’re authentic, and not just fluffing your values up – they are more likely to be interested in working, engaging, and staying with you.
Remember, people who share the same passions and values create magic.
If you’re not sure how to showcase your brand values through the stories you tell, check out this carousel.
