A common food served to guests is “lyurot” or “lotlot”, a bamboo cooked food of the native. Guests craved for more of the tasty chicken tendered by its own sauce and steamed inside bamboo.

The bago tribe surprise ous because we cannot believe that the beads came from an organic “paniyas” plant. And when you fry the beads it changes its color from black to brown to gray. And the paniyas beads is very affordable as it cost only P50 for necklace and P25 for the bracelet and if you want to have your name carved, it will only cost you P60 and the headdress is P150. This is one of their primary sources of income.
