"Truth does not need to borrow garments from falsehood." — Dr. Jose Rizal
Rizal Day is observed annually on December 30th to commemorate the life and works of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. The first celebration took place in 1898, during the reign of Emilio Aguinaldo, the Philippines' first president. Today marks the 126th anniversary of our beloved national hero's ex*****on.
Jose Rizal exemplifies how one's passion can lead to greater heights of impact and legacy. May we always be proud of our country and use this day to reflect on the true purpose and meaning of fighting for our country.
Mabuhay Filipino, Mabuhay Philippines 🇵🇭
HO! - HO! - HO! Merry Christmas! May the love and blessings of this holy season bring joy to your homes and hearts!
May your days be blessed throughout this holy season, no matter what or how you celebrate this life. I hope you recognize the miracles in your surroundings. May you recognize the brilliance of the extraordinary in the plain and mundane. May you take the time to recognize how valuable everything is. No matter what is going on around you, have faith that everything will be fine. Keep in mind that we are all connected, whether or not we are with our loved ones.
ENJOY, SSCSPian!!!

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord. Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you, I want to see you! 🎶 - Michael W. Smith
Let's open our eyes and let's feel the presence of the simbang gabi. 🌃Simbang gabi is a Filipino christmas tradition. It is a series of nine evening masses. It is a way of offering sacrifice and requesting blessings from the Lord, as they believe that if one completes nine dawn masses, their wishes will be granted.🌠
Wake up and let us together complete the nine evening masses!

Karapatan ng mga Katutubo, Ipaglaban!
Karanasan ng mga Katutubo, ating pag-aralan!
Primarily isolated in the Sierra Madre, the Dumagat thrive on agricultural land and forests, their primitive environment providing little protection against natural calamities. However, this protection will be destroyed by the impending "mega-infrastructure" projects that threaten to flood their community, the two large dam projects; one of these is the Kaliwa Dam Project.
The planned Kaliwa Dam site is located within an ancestral domain claimed by the Dumagat-Remontados. During the last decade, the Dumagat have protested against the two large dam projects. The Dumagat feared their lands would be taken away, “leaving them with little to pass on to their generations,” as said by Octavio Pranada, one of the tribal leaders.
With that, the PnC Social Science Society will conduct a webinar entitled K*K Webinar Trilogy: Kasaysayan, Kultura, Kapaligiran. This webinar tackles the Dumagat tribe: its History, Culture, and Environment.
This is free-of-charge so what are you waiting for? Let’s make our Sunday a fruitful and meaty of knowledge lectures on the Dumagat Tribe. See you virtually via Zoom and live streamed via Facebook and YouTube of PnC Social Science Society on November 20, 2022 (Sunday) from 1 PM to 4 PM.
