In consonance with the LGU Memoranda on Community Quarantine which has imposed LOCKDOWN in and out in the City of Cotabato ,CHED Subsequent Advisory (COVID-19) and to strengthen self - quarantine at homes, I hereby advise all CCSPC head of offices and staff (including job order office staff & job order faculty) to temporarily get yourselves work from home except for basic services workforce such as security. janitorial, electrical maintenance and finance section on leniency manner effective immediately until further notice.

Pursuant to the provisions and guidelines of Presidential Proclamation No. 922, Declaring “State of Public Health Emergency”, CHED Advisory No. 4 & LGU Executive Order No. 334. Due to the alarming advent of Corona Virus 2019 (COVID - 19); Classes are hereby suspended effective March 16, 2020 until further notice. However,offices are still open for smooth transaction and operation of the College and immediately close whenever deemed necessary. Faculty members are advised to contact their students to possibly undergo online sessions and take - home assignments and inform their students of the importance of staying in their homes during class suspension. Wide dissemination of this Order is highly appreciated.

CCSPC Graduate Faculty Attends the 7th International Conference on Public Administration and Development

Today| Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Dean of Graduate College, Dr. Mhd. Faheem M. Aliuden, Dr. Radzara A. Abdulgani and Dr. Ainonnacirin A. Abdulgani, faculty members of Graduate College are attending the 7th International Conference on Public Administration and Development with the theme “Evolving Nature of Governance and Development and the Need for Realigning the Civil Service” from February 5-8, 2020 at the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC), Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The conference is organized by the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre, in partnerships with the Civil Service Commission in Maldives, National Institute of Public Administration in Malaysia, Nepal Administrative Staff College in Nepal, Asian Association of Public Administration, Astana Civil Service Hub, North-South University, and Asian Institute of Technology Extension.

This international conference is expected to be a platform of interactions and discussions between academics, researchers and practitioners from different regions of the globe. The conference sub-themes cover the evolving dimensions of governance and development and the need for recalibrating the rules of the game, steering accelerated growth and managing inequality, Agenda 2030 and the role of the civil service, strategies for improving quality of governance, the need for a new approach for capacity building for the civil service to work in the SDG regime, and cross-cutting development challenges. These themes present a very compound and uncertain situation for all countries especially for the emerging economies like Bangladesh.

Joining them are Prof. Dr. Alex B. Brillantes, Jr. of the University of the Philippines and President of Asian Association of Public Administration, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Krishna K. Tummala of Kansas State University, USA, and Dr. Bai Queen D. Piang, an alumna of Ph.D Public Administration of the Graduate College and Chief Administrative Officer-PDEA.

The Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC) and the University of the Philippines-National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG) are the only delegates from the Philippines. Other delegates came from other countries like Malaysia, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Australia, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Russia, and South Africa.

The Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) is a centre committed to excellence and a premier regional hub dedicated to provide effective, inclusive and self-mandated and bespoken training for civil servants. It is the apex public sector training institute in Bangladesh-meeting the challenges of the 21st century. NOTICE OF SEARCH FOR CCSPC PRESIDENT

The Board of Trustees of the Cotabato City State Polytechnic College announces the opening of the search for CCSPC President.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Not less than thirty-five (35) years old and not more than sixty-one (61) years old at the time of application. Sixty-one (61) years old shall mean from actual date of birth and not a day older beyond 61 years old;
2. A natural-born Filipino citizen;
3. Holder of an earned doctorate degree from a CHED-accredited higher education institution;
4. Proven track record as an administrator in a higher educational or research institution [President, Vice-President, Dean, Campus Administrator, Academic Director reporting directly to the President or to a Vice President, whether in public or private, for at least five (5) years; and
5. Must not have been convicted of any administrative offense or of any crime involving moral turpitude.

An applicant who does not meet any one of the above-mentioned minimum qualifications and cannot submit pertinent supporting documentary evidences for these minimum qualifications on the set deadline shall be disqualified from the search process.

DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Formal application letter addressed to:

2. Detailed Curriculum Vitae signed under oath (personal
data, educational qualifications, work experience
including organizational chart of the institution showing
the candidate’s position, research outputs and
publications, extension activities, experience in resource
generation, awards and certificates, conferences
attended);

3. Certified true copy of documents in support of the data
stated in the Curriculum Vitae. The HR Officer of the
organization where the applicant comes from may certify
to the authenticity of the documents provided that the
original is presented to him/her for comparison;

4. Proposed Vision, Mission and Development Goals for
CCSPC in not more than five (5) pages

5. Certificates/Clearances from the following government
agencies, obtained not more than three (3) months from
the date of filing of application, indicating that the
applicant has not been convicted of any administrative or
criminal offense:

a. Sandiganbayan
b. Civil Service Commission (CSC)
c. National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)
d. Municipal /Regional Trial Court
e. Ombudsman (for government employees)
f. Institution/Company where applicant is presently
employed

6. PSA (NSO)-authenticated Birth Certificate

7. Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness issued by a
physician from a government-recognized or accredited
health institution but not the same institution where the
applicant is presently employed.

8. Results of neuro-psychiatric examination conducted by a
physician from a government-recognized or accredited
health institution but not the same institution where the
applicant is presently employed. Results should be
signed by a board certified neurologist or psychiatrist.
The test results shall also include a statement indicating
the purpose for which the test is taken, e.g. “this test was
taken in connection with the applicant’s application for
the position of President of CCSPC.” The Search
Committee reserves the right to verify the results of the
examination.

9. Duly accomplished CSC Form 212 made under oath

The Search Committee for the Presidency (SCP) reserves the right to validate and verify the authenticity of documents submitted and the right to accept or reject any document that it deems to be questionable.

IMPORTANT: Interested applicants must submit one (1) set of original and six (6) sets of certified photocopies of the aforementioned documents on or before January 13, 2020, Monday at 5:00 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time) to:
