Moissanite is superior compare to Diamond in all aspects: Brilliance Refractive Index, Fire Dispersion and Toughness (Resistance to Chipping), except Hardness (Resistance to Scratching). All the high-end watches use scratch proof sapphire glasses with hardness of 9.0 which is still below moissanite’s 9.25-9.50.

Moissanite is much more environment friendly green gem as it is developed in laboratories. There is no mining harmful to the earth and nothing connected to conflict trade or blood diamonds.

Moissanite is the world’s most brilliant gem.
Diamond is the world’s hardest gem.

An average 1 carat diamond costs around php250-300K in Manila.A moissanite from Charles & Colvard of similar appearance and size can cost about php45k. Our high quality moissanite is less than 10k....

The World’s Most Brilliant Gem!!!

Mineral moissanite was discovered by Nobel Prize-winning chemist Dr. Henri Moissan while examining rock samples from a meteor crater located in Canyon Diablo, Arizona, in 1893. At first, he mistakenly identified the crystals as diamonds, but in 1904 he identified the crystals as silicon carbide.

Analysis of silicon carbide grains found in the Murchison meteorite has revealed anomalous isotopic ratios of carbon and silicon, indicating an origin from outside the solar system. 99% of these silicon carbide grains originate around carbon-rich asymptotic giant branch stars. Silicon carbide is commonly found around these stars, as deduced from their infrared spectra.

Moissanite was introduced to the jewelry market in 1998 after Charles & Colvard, formerly known as C3 Inc., received patents to create and market lab-grown silicon carbide gemstones, becoming the first firm to do so. In many developed countries, the use of moissanite in jewelry was controlled by the patents held by Charles & Colvard; these patents expired in August 2015 for the United States, 2016 in most other countries, and 2018 in Mexico...

The market is now finally open to all the players. We can all enjoy this most brilliant gem on the earth.

Yes, it is better than diamond in most aspects except the hardness...
