Engr. Edgar Martin Y. Dela Rama, Jr., a faculty member of the College of Engineering and Food Science of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, was awarded as the 2023 Outstanding Young Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer of Bicol Region awarded by the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer Bicol Chapter during the 13th PSABE Bicol Chapter Regional Convention held at the Sorsogon Provincial Gymnasium, Capitol Compound, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon.

The recognition is the highest award given to an ABE, showcasing exceptional professional competence, maintaining integrity in professional conduct, actively engaging in professional activities within the organization, making significant contributions to the progress of the profession, and earnestly fulfilling personal and professional social responsibilities through meaningful involvement in socio-related activities.

The CBSUA congratulates Engr. Dela Rama on this noteworthy recognition. Long live!

She is now pursuing her Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Education with Specialization in Criminology at CICOSAT Colleges INC, Lingsat, La Union. Currently, she is affiliated with Reymarkable Review and Training Center as Administrative Officer and Resident Lecturer.

Catch our lecturer on September 9, 2023, who will discuss the Traffic Investigation and Driving and the Vice and Drug Education and Control. Also on September 10, 2023, where she will focus on Law Enforcement Organization and Administration and Law Enforcement Operations with Planning and Crime Mapping.

Our next FREE lecture for CIRP 2023 is set for September 3 & 4, 2023, covering the subject area of Criminal Law and Jurisprudence.

Our esteemed guest lecturer is Armand Q.Viola, Jr. RCRIM, MSCJ, CSP, PIC, CIC , CSMS , CCD , CCS , JURIS DOCTOR (On-Going).

Currently, he serves as the Review Director for Criminology - CBRC and the Review Director for Napolcom FOE and PENOLOGY Review.

Meanwhile, on September 4, he will be tackling the area of Crime Detection and Investigation highlighting the Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence as well as in Special Crime Investigation 1 with Legal Medicine.

Due to bad weather conditions brought by Super Typhoon Goring, our first lecturer, Atty. Ferraro will not be around for his session tomorrow because of his cancelled flight.

With this, the CIRP committee decided to cancel and reschedule the said session for another date. Above all, safety remains our top priority. We are working on rearranging the event and hope to have an update shortly.
