Thank you for your enduring support and dedication to Rang-ay Integrated School.
The NLC Culmination activity was a huge success with lots of exciting and fun activities that the campers absolutely enjoyed. It was amazing to see how our campers had grown and developed over the weeks they spent at the camp. They exhibited a great deal of enthusiasm and energy throughout the activity, which was truly infectious.
The reaction from parents and campers was joyous and extremely positive, and we were pleased to see how well they were interacting with our teachers and staff – they truly became part of our NLC family. Our principal, Mr. Roderick Cayubin, was very supportive throughout the program, and we are grateful for his guidance and inspiration in making the culmination a success.
We are also very thankful to all of our stakeholders, sponsors, suppliers, and teachers who worked hard to make the program a success and provided snacks, school supplies, and other essential items that the campers needed. Special thanks to Jonny Bert, who cooked delicious meals for us, and Sir Ian Valdez and friends, who donated to our program. All of these contributions were invaluable.
As NLC teachers, we are extremely proud of what we have accomplished together. The culmination activity was a testament to our hard work, dedication, and passion for teaching and fostering a positive learning experience for our campers. We are now looking forward to next year's program, which we are confident will be even better. Our campers have now returned to their homes, filled with fantastic memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.
Hooray for it’s your Birthday, Sir!
Happy birthday, Sir Roderick A. Cayubin! We are privileged to have you as the head of our beloved school, Rang-ay Integrated School. Today, we celebrate not just your birthday, but also your inspiring leadership and dedication.

Rang-ay Integrated School Conducts National Learning Camp, Provides Enrichment During School Break
The Rang-ay Integrated School successfully conducted the National Learning Camp, a program aimed at enhancing the education of students during their school break. The camp, held on July 24, 2023 until Aygust 25, 2023, catered to elementary students as well as those in grades 7 and 8.
With the goal of promoting continuous learning, the National Learning Camp focused on various subjects and activities designed to engage and inspire young students.
The reading sessions for elementary students aimed to foster a love for reading, improve comprehension skills, and expand their vocabulary. Teacher-volunteers provided guidance and shared their knowledge with the eager young learners. Through storytelling, interactive exercises, and group discussions, students had the opportunity to further develop their passion for reading.
For students in grades 7 and 8, the National Learning Camp went beyond the traditional classroom setting. The program featured engaging activities that encouraged critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
The innovative approach employed at the National Learning Camp aimed to create a stimulating and enjoyable atmosphere for the participants. By incorporating hands-on activities, educational games, and group projects, the program succeeded in making learning a fun and immersive experience for all attendees.
Indeed, the National Learning Camp at Rang-ay Integrated School has proven to be a testament to the collective commitment of DepEd, and teacher-volunteers to provide quality education experiences for students throughout the year.

Faculty Meeting Held Under the Shade of Trees as Heat Wave Continues
In response to the ongoing heat wave, faculty members of Rang-ay Integrated School held their meeting under the shade of trees on campus. The meeting, which was scheduled to take place in a mini-gym, was moved outdoors to provide relief from the scorching temperatures.
As the faculty members gathered under the trees, they discussed a variety of topics related to the upcoming graduation and other important matters such as:
1. The committee or technical working group for the graduation
2. Learning modalities
3. COT
4. Submission of grades
5. Card Day
6. SMEPA
7. Preparation for hosting of MFOT
Despite the unusual setting, the meeting proceeded smoothly, with attendees taking turns speaking and sharing ideas.
The decision to move the meeting outdoors was made out of concern for the health and well-being of the faculty members. With temperatures soaring so high, it was deemed unsafe to hold the meeting indoors without proper air conditioning.
"Given the extreme heat, we felt it was important to prioritize the health and comfort of our faculty members," said sir Roderick Cayubin, the school principal.
"Moving the meeting outdoors was a simple solution that allowed us to proceed with our agenda while keeping everyone safe.", he added.
The meeting under the trees was a success, with many attendees commenting on the refreshing breeze and natural surroundings. It served as a reminder that, even in the midst of a heat wave, creativity and adaptability can lead to positive outcomes.

How to cope with the demand of time?
In a bid to keep up with the ever-evolving technological landscape, the Rang-ay Integrated School Elementary Department recently conducted a LAC session aimed at enhancing their knowledge on “Training on Mastering Google Drive: A comprehensive guide to uploading, organizing, and collaborating on files”
Led by sir Vary Pastor, the resource speaker of the said event, the session covered a wide range of topics, including the use of educational software, usage of google drive and multimedia resources.
Participants were encouraged to share their own experiences and ideas with the group. Throughout the session, the atmosphere was vibrant and engaging, with teachers actively participating in discussions and asking questions to further their understanding.
At the end of the day, participants left the session feeling energized and equipped with new knowledge and skills that they can incorporate into their teaching practices.
In an increasingly digital world, it is essential for educators to stay current with the latest technological advancements in order to provide the best possible learning experiences for their students.

In today's fast-paced world, where competition is fierce, it is heartening to see young students achieving great heights in different fields. Whether it is athletics or journalism, these young achievers are setting the bar high for their peers and inspiring them to aim for excellence.
Apart from athletics, our school also has a vibrant journalism program, where students learn the art of storytelling and reporting. Recently, a group of student journalists won a regional award in Radio Broadcasting Filipino- Elementary and News Writing English- Elementary.
Nevertheless, the achievements of these young athletes and journalists are a testament to the power of hard work, perseverance, and dedication. They have shown that with the right mindset and attitude, anything is possible, and they are inspiring their peers and the community at large to aim for excellence in their chosen fields.

The first day of our students' work immersion at LGU (Local Government Unit) was exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. They were divided into different departments to gain experience and knowledge based on their field of interest.
Some were assigned to the administrative office, where they assisted in recording and filing documents, while others were assigned to the treasury department, where they learned about budgeting and financial management.
A few students were assigned to the engineering department, where they witnessed firsthand the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, including roadworks and drainage systems.
It was a memorable experience for our students to be able to work with professionals and gain knowledge outside of the classroom setting. We hope that this work immersion would help them decide on their future careers and prepare them for the real world.
Congratulations!
