As part of the programs in the celebration of the 44th NTC Anniversary, NTC-Caraga hosted a gathering of the registered amateur and civic radio operators in the region thru the Seminar in Gender-Fair Language and Media. The event was held on July 17, 2023 at the Multipurpose Hall of the Regional Office. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Edson B. Alijo of the Commission on Human Rights – Caraga.

The seminar aims to upskill the radio operators on the concepts of sexism in language and the use of gender-fair language. Moreover, the event also aims to gain the support of the radio operators in promoting the gender and development advocacy of the Regional Office.
