ADVICE from Warren Buffett
1. STAY away from credit cards & invest in yourself.
2. LIVE your life as simple as you are.
3. DON'T do what others say, just listen to them, but do what you feel good.
4. DON'T go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
5. DON'T waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend it on what you really need.
6. DON'T give others a CHANCE to RULE your LIFE, it's yours to live after all.
& tips:
Plan (and Save) for Retirement
Retirement may seem like a lifetime away, but it arrives much sooner than you’d expect. Experts suggest that most people will need about 80% of their current salary in retirement.
The younger you start, the more you benefit from what advisors like to call the magic of compounding interest—how small amounts grow over time.
Find an investment vehicle that will make your money work for you
& Tips:
Create an Emergency Fund
It’s important to “pay yourself first” to ensure money is set aside for unexpected expenses such as medical bills, a big car repair, rent if you get laid off (which is the case mostly nowadays), and more.
Ideally, six months' worth of living expenses is a good safety net. Once you’ve filled up your “rainy day” fund (for emergencies or sudden unemployment), don’t stop. Continue funneling an amount towards other financial goals such as a retirement fund.
Saving & Investment Tips:
Create a Budget or Financial Worksheet
It is essential to living within your means and saving enough to meet your long-term goals. The 50/30/20 budgeting method offers a great framework. It breaks down like this:
50% of your take-home pay or net income (after taxes, that is) goes toward living essentials, such as rent, utilities, groceries, and transport
30% goes towards the future: paying down debt and saving both for retirement and for emergencies
20% is allocated to lifestyle expenses, such as dining out and shopping for clothes.
“Fail to plan, you plan to fail”
This is the same with failing to plan for your future (retirement), you plan to fail, and be dependent to your kids and loved ones.
Be a blessing and not a burden. Start preparing for your future now 🙂

Client: I am covered for P2,000,000 right?
Me: Yes sir.
Client: So when will I receive the P2,000,000?
If I finish paying after 10 years, will I receive the P2,000,000?
Me: No sir. The fund value is yours. However, you will never ever receive the face amount in your entire lifetime.
Client: Ay, so panget pala. I will pay for something that other people will enjoy. Di ko din naman pla magagamit.
Me: (Trying to hold my composure. Breath In Breath Out) Sir do you send your kids to school?
Client: Yes of course. My youngest is still in College.
Me: You should stop sending them to school.
Client: Why?
Me: Because you are paying for something you will never use. Anak nyo lng tatalino dahil sa pagpasok nya sa school. Di mo din magagamit. Di ka din tatalino. You are paying for something that other people will enjoy.
That is actually how insurance works. That "Other People" you are saying are the people you love, your family. Would you not want to give something that would benefit them?
Client: Now I get It.

Thinking of investing?
Here are 5 basic things to consider from a Financial Coach:
1. Household budget - keeping a financial worksheet to allocate and monitor your cash flow is important
2. Get debt free - pay off your short term loans at the earliest, if you have any. Avoid unnecessary debt, live within your means
3. Have adequate protection - life is full of uncertainty, it is crucial to have a life insurance and income protection
4. Emergency Fund is a must - 6 months worth of your monthly expenses for times like this; that your job/income may be unstable
5. Expand income streams - find new ways to earn through active and passive income, take advantage of the world wide web

ECQure na natin yung future mo!
✅TODAY IS THE BEST TIME TO START YOUR VUL (INSURANCE + INVESTMENT)!
💡Here are our Life's essentials and basic necessities:
1. Protection (if may mangyari sayong masama like death, your beneficiaries will get a guaranteed living benefit. Ofcourse ayaw naman nating iwan sila ng may utang diba po?)
2. Medium to Long term Goals (this is the specific needs ng mga tao kaya tayo nagiipon. Let say for a wedding, buying a car, buying a house and lot and etc.)
1. Credibility of the insurance company (Sunlife is the pioneer of VUL in the philippines)
2. Low Premium Pay (For as low as 1,500/ month premium payment you can have your own life insurance with investment na kasama - VUL)
3. Investment (SunLife has professional fund managers na naglalagay ng money natin sa big and stable companies para maggrow pa ito to its maximum potential)

PSEi: The Market opened in GREEN STATUS! Is this a Sign Of Reversal? Thoughts? :)
PSEi as of 10:30am is at 5970+ levels 🔥
PSEi just broke the 6000 support back in 2016.
Our next major support is at 5500 which was back in 2013.
Should this happen, it means that prices of Index stocks (Top 30 Stock Companies in PH) will be priced way back in 2013- that's 7 years ago worth of SALE!!
You have 4 Options:
Option 1: Optimistic investors will start entering today buying great companies that will outlast the Covid issue
Option 2: Stay on the sideline and wait for the major support to maximize more returns
Option 3: I totally have no idea, I will find an advisor to help and guide me on my investments
Option 4: Manunuod na lang ako, wala naman akong alam diyan 😂
