This is designed to introduce Medical/Health Sciences Basic Concept, Structures & Functions.
CHAPTER 8-MUSCULAR SYSTEM

Muscle is a dominant tissue in the heart and in the walls of other hollow organs of the body. In all its forms, it makes up nearly half the body’s mass. The essential function of the muscles is Contraction or Shortening, a unique characteristic that sets it apart from any other body tissue. As a result of this ability, muscles are responsible for essentially all body movement and can be viewed as the “machines” of the body.
CHAPTER 7 SKELETAL SYSTEM

Our Skeleton is a tower of bones arranged and form the bony framework of the body, so we can stand upright and balance ourselves. Strong, yet light, as it is perfectly adapted for its functions of body protection and motion. Skeletal System is made up of about 206 Bones, their level of action is of importance in the achievement of motion.
CHAPTER 6-SKIN AND BODY MEMBRANES

The integumentary system is very important to the human body. It provides protection and helps interpret signals from outside the body (temperature, texture, etc.). This system helps maintain homeostasis by aiding in body heat loss and retention, excretion of urea and uric acid and by synthesizing vitamin D, which promotes body growth and calcium retention. This chapter include a comparison of structure and function of various membranes, anatomical characteristics of the skin (composed of the connective tissue dermis and the epidermis) and its derivatives, and the manner in which the skin responds to both internal and external stimuli to protect the body.
CHAPTER 1-An Overview of the Human Body structure and functions.
Anatomy and Physiology & some subdivisions of biology explore many of the topics as they describe how our bodies are put together and how they work.
CHAPTER 5- BODY TISSUES

The Human, complex as it is. Millions of cells that result become specialized for particular functions. Thus, there is a division of labor in the body, with certain groups of highly specialized cells performing functions that benefit the organism as a whole and contribute to homeostasis.
CHAPTER 4-THE CELL
https://youtu.be/UeK12t-acGc
Initially, it is discovered by Robert Hooke in 1665, The Cell has a rich and interesting history that has ultimately given way too many of today’s scientific advancements. Cell is the basic functional and structural unit of life. All the living organisms are composed of cells. All cells are formed by the division of the already existing cells which in terms of biology means reproduction. Every cell of our body comprises of genetic material which is passed down during the process.
Biochemistry is the application of chemistry to the study of biological processes at the cellular and molecular level. It determine how specific molecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, vitamins, hormones and other compounds function in such processes. Particular emphasis is placed on the regulation of chemical reactions in living cells. This Chapter presents the basics of Biochemistry (The Chemistry Composition of Living Matter) that is vitally important to body functioning.
CHAPTER 2-CHEMISTRY
The food you eat and the Medicines you take when you are ill are composed of chemicals. Chemical reactions underlie all body processes; movement, digestion, the pumping of your heart and even your thoughts. This chapter presents the basic of chemistry providing the background you will need to understand body functions.
