Happy 2nd anniversary to my travel buddy! 🌎❤️

Two years of exploring different things together. From learning rich history and cultures to temple hopping, experiencing the beauty of the elephant sanctuary, taking sleeper bus and train, to exploring night markets and searching for vegan foods together, this adventure is one for the books. What makes it better is that I did it with you! 😘

From Jungles to Islands: The mission that everyone needed 20/07/2024

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, true rest and joy come from knowing Jesus. Many of us were refreshed and relaxed, but the deepest peace comes from learning about Jesus and partaking in His abundant love.

Last weekend, a group of dentist friends set out on a medical mission to remote jungles and islands, serving those in need. We not just served others but also deepen our relationship with Christ and understand His sacrifice. There is no better way to spend the weekend than by knowing Christ and Him crucified. God bless everyone!

NGUMITI NANG BONGGA, WALANG KAILANGANG PERA, PUSTISO NA LIBRE, PARA SA MGA LOLO’T LOLA. (Free dentures for Seniors) ✨

It's a rainy day in our wellness center, but it doesn't stop it from creating beautiful smiles for Nanay Lourdes. She's been suffering from edentulism all throughout these years. It's a brand new smile for Nanay in her 60s. Praises to God for giving us the gift to bring smiles to the faces in our community.

If you want to be part of this project for seniors, you can donate for the materials used to help more people regain their smiles back. You can message me for more information. Pass it on!

Shoutout to Dr. Weeden Fofue for sponsoring our materials for this project! 💕

HE’S A GOD OF TIMING

While we were on our way to the medical mission site, it started raining, and the road became slippery. We came across someone who had a self inflcted accident along the way. He was driving his motorcycle from Panitian (50kms away from the accident site). When we passed by, we saw him on the road, had his helmet on but still sustained head injuries. We were supposed to leave at 5 AM, but loading the medical supplies took us longer, delaying our departure until almost 6 AM. Thankfully, our nurses were quick to respond, provided first aid to Tatay and called an ambulance for proper treatment.

Sometimes, delays are a blessing. We may have experienced delays, but God is a God of timing. He orchestrated everything so we could be a blessing to someone in need.

Praise God! We got to try out our portable dental chair in our wellness center in Southern Palawan. Only one chair is working for now though. The other two are missing some important parts and can't be used yet. But we've already ordered the missing parts from the US with Ate Ame's help! Hopefully they'll get here by the end of June and my uncle can bring them.

In the meantime, we'll figure something out to use all the chairs for our upcoming missions. We're super stoked to get these chairs out to be used in our jungle schools and the community we work with! Keep it in your prayers!

IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?

BUCKLE UP, THIS IS A LONG ONE‼️⚠️

PRAISE REPORT🙏

Finally after 3 flights from Mt. Hagen to Port Moresby, Our chairs have arrived in PALAWAN. We praise God for providing these chairs that will be used in our mission work. My wife and I were amazed upon seeing and using these when we had our mega health clinic in PNG last April. I told her how i wish we could have some of these in our jungle work since we are just using tables and chairs and the kids would get wet all over their necks. Nonetheless, God already answered our prayers even before we ask.

But getting these chairs here wasn’t without a struggle! We were ready to bring these chairs on our flight, Ate Amelita Green handed us $100 for transport cost. But we were told to leave the chairs and just let our pastors bring it home after they finish their evangelistic series. Sadly, they were not able to bring it home due to fuel shortage and their flights were cancelled, forcing them to leave the chairs behind. We were disappointed upon hearing this news, but the Lord gave us assurance that He would bring these chairs here because this is His work!

I was shocked by the high cost of shipping, much more expensive than I had anticipated. The question is, is it really worth it? To some this is just an ordinary chair, to us this is a treasure. We can ask the same question about our dear Savior. He offered His precious life on the cross knowing that some would reject Him. He would still offer His life even if only one would accept Him. That is the value of one soul to Jesus. Though unworthy as we are, He would still die even if there was only one soul that would accept Him. So, yes, this is definitely worth it! VALUE is surely in the eye of the beholder.

Shoutout to the Little helping hand, our brother Ronald! whom God used to safely bring these chairs to us! He surely knows and understands our sentiments. It's a blessing that he knows how valuable this is and is happy to help. He would go the extra mile just to extend a helping hand. He's been with us in prayer, and he arranged everything from getting it in PNG to bringing it here to Palawan. Not only that, He cut the transport fees in half! 🙌

We'd like to express our gratitude to Ate Amy Green for not only helping us arrange the donation of these chairs for our work here, but also for her generous $100 donation towards the transportation cost. Blessings to you all. 😭

FROM CARRY-ONS TO CARGO

We left Palawan with only backpacks, but we’re bringing with us 80kgs of essential supplies filled with medicines, new tools for our mission work and pasalubongs for our missionaries. Little did we know how He would bless us abundantly to fulfill our mission and support those in need.

Waking up one morning to a notification that someone donated money for our work and when we looked at it, it was the amount that we need to cover the cause for our upcoming mission in the mountains! It was a confirmation that God was working behind the scenes, inspiring someone all the way from US to support our mission.

Let this be an encouragement to all of you! Trust in God's plan, and never underestimate His ability to bless you. Just as He turned our carry-on trip into a cargo-filled mission, He can do amazing things in your life too.

Praising God from whom all blessings flow!

We are thankful to have attended the PDA Convention held from May 13-17! The event was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry. We are particularly excited about applying these new learnings in our practice and in missions.

Not only did we gain valuable knowledge for our profession and missionary work, but we also brought back essential supplies for our ongoing efforts in Palawan.

A highlight of the convention was reconnecting with several former professors, colleagues, and friends. These people played a big part in making us who we are today.

We are excited to put all our learnings into practice. Thank you, PDA, for this incredible opportunity!

Over the tabernacle rested the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, which guided the Israelites in all their wanderings. Ex. 30:48

In the midst of the desert heat there was a cool, refreshing shelter beneath the shade of the cloudy pillar for those who served in the tabernacle or worshiped in its court, while without was the scorching heat of the desert. Isa 32:2

What a beautiful type of the covering God spreads over His people in the midst of this wicked world, so that it is possible to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty One, while in the midst of the turmoil and strife of this wicked world. Ps. 91:1

May we have peaceful rest this Sabbath 🤗☺️Happy Sabbath 💕

There’s a whole world out there!

I was amazed to see galaxies and stars 12 million light-years away! I was blown away by what I am seeing, unimaginably far, mesmerized by their form, their light, their twinkle... Like Elijah, when God didn’t appear to Him in the mighty earthquake and the strong winds, but in the still small voice, thus He came to me with His still small voice,

“If I could create such a vast universe as this, then how much more can I create you anew, created in My likeness having My life in you.”

I want to jump for joy! Suddenly, all my life’s problems seem like nothing! I am encouraged that GOD IS ABLE! to create in us a new heart and make us a new person in Christ Jesus, to live a victorious life. How little this is for God to accomplish when His word is creative, the universe is a witness to that!

I pray that as you look and see the trees, the humble flower at the side of the road, and the carefree birds without any hint of worry, may you remember that God created all these through His word. He is able too to create you a new person in Christ Jesus!

Happy Sabbath!

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR MONTH ✨

April was truly filled with blessings from God. Our minds were blown by how God directed even the smallest details, schedules, and trips! Long before, God had already arranged everything we needed and placed us right where we are. Here are some highlights from this month:

Attended Cedee and Edgar’s wedding, what a privilege it was to celebrate one of the most special events in their lives! Just as we wait for our bridegroom, Jesus, and He prepares us to meet Him.

Medical/Dental mission in Talaingod, Davao, with Ate Ging Rovelyn, Ate Siena, Kuya Jo and families as the hosts of the event. Together with our mission partners, Doc Jobel and Doc Junella! What a blessing not only to be used by God as His hands and feet but also to taste our most loved but often hated food, Durian. Haha!

PNG for Christ Mega Clinic: Being a part of this was truly life-changing. We were blessed by the people we met and the encounters we had. God placed us there, and we saw why. We needed it; we were blessed much more than we could have blessed them, to say the least!

God's little treat for us: A trip to Korea! We were somewhat thrilled by how the Lord provided and organized this trip for us. We saw His hands in every detail of this trip. Even when we thought we didn’t need this trip, God showed us that it was already prepared! It reminds us that we don’t need to make ourselves look good before coming to God, we can come as we are because God has already prepared everything for us. Just come!

PNG for Christ MEGA HEALTH CLINIC 2024 🇵🇬

4 years in the making and now it’s finally happening! We need your prayers, may Christ be lifted up in this place and many souls be ushered at the feet of Jesus.

Expecting to serve 10,000 patients

Praising God for this opportunity to serve our brothers and sisters here!

How great God is, that He used dust like us to be His hands and feet, bringing relief to hundreds of people here in Davao. This is another testament that when He calls, He will qualify and sustain!

The whole court was packed with people, and it seemed to us that we could never finish, but lo and behold, when it dropped to the last patient, we noticed that the people were gone and all had received treatment. Glory to God!

KEPT BY THE WORD

Not only that we are created by His word, but by the same word we are sustained, nourished, and nurtured. Believe that word, trust it, and find its keeping power. Blessed week ahead 🤗💕

It’s been a year of His keeping power!

We spent the end of the day walking around town, jogging a little, and ended it by the sea. We sat there, just feeling the breeze on our faces, listening to the waves of the sea, and topped off with a simple meal. It's amazing how simple things can be such a refreshment for the soul!

How about you? What are the little things God did for you today that draw you to His everlasting love?

I AM WHERE I WANNA BE 🫶

I remember those times when waking up was hard, my heart filled with anger, and shame haunted me in my dreams. Some felt the same way I did. They think their life is a failure and will change the course of their life if they have a chance to do so. The wrong decisions made turned to a life of hardship, traumas, and battle. Friends, there is HOPE! When I allowed the Lord Jesus to lead my life, I have been blessed and happy. I have what I need, and I am right where I want to be. If we let God in our hearts, trusting in Him in the light as well as in the darkness, He will not lead us otherwise than we would choose to be led.

10/01/2024

One of the toughest part of a dental mission is making sure every patient gets treated in a clean, safe space. That means fresh gloves for everyone, and it’s amazing how quickly those glove packs disappear when you're surrounded by lots of patients! That’s why we are always in need of GLOVES!

The Lord surely has a thousand ways to provide for our needs in which we do not know of! The moment we received these amazing donations, a burden was lifted in us. Friends, let’s praise the Lord together! To our donor who wants to stay anonymous, thank you for this generous donations of 11 boxes of gloves!

May this serve as a powerful reminder that throughout our journey, the Lord provides for our every need, no matter how small you may think that need be. 💕🤗

01/01/2024

Happy New Year! 2023 was a year filled with God's faithfulness and tender care for us. We simply cannot praise God enough for everything He has done!

To more mission trips, community outreach, adventures, growth, and loving people in 2024!

We deeply appreciate you being here, praying for us, and supporting us. We can't wait to share the experiences of 2024 with you!
