How to be a full-time working barrister without study leaves Believe you can by claiming it already kaya 1st page pa lang, Atty na agad kahit review pa lang😅 Being a full-time working barrister last year, I really needed to make the best use of time. The first day of Bar week was Sept 17, and I was still working until Sept 15. No, I did not take any study leaves ( so sa mga wala ng VLs, wag kayo mawalan ng pag-asa). Because I did not take study leaves, I was also not able to enroll in a full program review kc they would not fit my work schedule. What I enrolled in was the basic Practice Exam program with Academicus Review Center Inc. just so that I'll have an idea of what Examplify looks like. This was the cheapest at Php 2500 only then. What happened there was they sent mock bar questions via Examplify, we answered within time limit. Then a Proctor checked and gave feedback on the answers via email that we can review at our convenience. On reviewers, choose the shortest from a reputable source. Wala ng time magbasa ng kahaba haba. On my notes, I focused on Barchair and landmark cases. If I can't summarize their doctrines in 1 to 3 sentence, may problema ko kc malamang di ko na-gets. I also focused on the most common RAs and laws per subject. For new lawyers who are now starting to buy office equipment for your practice, hands down buy a printer with automatic document feeder and WiFi. Super convenient lalo't we need more than one copy of documents for court filings. Compared to a Flat Bed Scanner, mangangalay ka kakataas baba ng cover at kakasalang ng bagong papel. I prefer one with continuous ink refill system na rin instead of cartridges. So far, this is the least expensive brand and model na may ADF na, wifi and continuous ink refill system: Brother DCP T720DW. (I'm a fan of Brother brand dahil pinakamatibay xa so far sa lahat ng printers na nagamit ko, and I've used almost all known brands already.) I bought this from Shopee, retail price is Php 12950. Efficiency Being a new lawyer and having a small home office, there is that need to utilize time and space more efficiently. Since we usually have clients in the office during weekdays, all documents needed for the succeeding week are prepared during weekends. On printers, best to get one with ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) for more efficient scanning and photocopying.
