Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement Signing Ceremony for TUPT Community Extension Projects

The Technological University of the Philippines-Taguig celebrated the 126th Philippine Independence Day on June 10, 2024. The TUPT community came together to sing the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn and recite the pledge, as outlined under Memorandum Circular No. 52. This directive mandates government institutions to promote national unity and pride through the Bagong Pilipinasbrand of governance and leadership, emphasizing integrity, accountability, and patriotism. The event aimed to further instill these principles among Filipinos, reinforcing a collective commitment to progress and good governance.

TUP-Taguig Strategic Planning 2024-2028: Building a Collaborative Future!

We are excited to share the success of our Strategic Planning session for 2024-2028, held on June 6-7, 2024, at the serene DAP Tagaytay!

The objective of this event is to bring together sector heads, including the administration, department heads, and other relevant personnel, to collaboratively craft and develop our organization’s strategic objectives and plan roadmaps for achieving our goals for the next five years (2024-2028) and align action plans for 2025. This event was led by the President of the Technological University of the Philippines, Engr. Reynaldo P. Ramos, ENP, and the Campus Director of TUP Taguig, Dr. Rexmelle F. Decapia Jr.

Our primary objective was met with great enthusiasm as we gathered our dedicated team to engage in dynamic discussions, innovative brainstorming, and strategic planning. The collaborative efforts focused on setting a clear and actionable course for TUP-Taguig’s future, ensuring that our educational programs, community partnerships, and technological advancements align with our long-term goals.

TUP Taguig Campus, a certified ISO 9001:2015 institution, recognizes the vital role of risk management in maintaining operational excellence. To address potential risks, the Quality Assurance and Planning Office organized a two-day writeshop dedicated to proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact our operation’s reputation and financial stability. Simultaneously, a client satisfaction monitoring analysis writeshop was conducted to enhance our commitment to continuous improvement.

Citizen's Charter Workshop

Pursuant to Section 6 of Republic Act (RA) 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the campus had targets to improve service delivery and citizen’s satisfaction by being transparent about the process and procedures on every transaction in their respective offices.

We are pleased to announce that our TUPT students, Jhon Paul Mejia, John Kyle Domingo, and Jade Jowinson Dig, have achieved the Champion Award in the Mechawizard 2024 competition. Additionally, our university has been recognized as the highest-performing institution in this prestigious event.

The Technological University of the Philippines-Taguig students triumphed at the UMAK Esports Friendship Games held at the University of Makati. These exceptional students secured 1st place in Mobile Legends, 3rd place in Call of Duty, 3rd place in Valorant, and 2nd place in League of Legends. Overall, TUPT bagged the 2nd place.
