Happiness is a personal journey, one that we have the power to navigate. We don't need external validation or circumstances to find joy; instead, it's an inward quest, shaped by our attitudes, choices, and perceptions.

Reflective questions:
🌱How often do you look inward to find contentment?
🌱How can you better use the 'passport' you already possess to journey towards your own happiness?

Though we may face sorrows, let us find joy in the smallest of blessings. Even when we feel we have nothing, let us remember that we possess the wealth of the heart and spirit. ❤️

May you find joy and richness in your life's simplest moments today!

TWO KINDS OF MARRIAGE CONFLICTS
by Mark Timothy Brion

Hindi maiiwasan ang away, tampuhan, galit, inis, at matitinding diskusyunan sa buhay may-asawa. Though marriage can be a ‘bed of roses’ to some, let’s not forget that roses grow thorns—and we need to understand na normal ito sa mga mag-asawa. Hindi natin ito maiiwasan at lalong hindi dapat natin ito takbuhan.

Marriage is a union of two individuals with different opinions, personality quirks, history, context, ideas, strengths, weaknesses, and philosophies. Ika nga, magkakaiba tayo ng pinanggagalingan at pinanggalingan sa buhay.

And once we don’t honor these things, such as:
💔 Hindi natin inuunawa ang ating asawa;
💔 Hindi natin iniisip ang kanilang pinanggalingan;
💔 When we show disinterest;
💔 When we stop listening;
💔 When we start focusing on ourselves; and
💔 When we just keep on talking, nagging and complaining (at napakarami pang iba).

…that’s when conflict rises and starts piling up.

Now, we need to understand that there are two kinds of marital conflicts.

10 HABITS OF HAPPY COUPLES
by Mark Timothy Brion

We all have different habits—regardless, if they’re good habits or the bad ones.

🤔Tipong pagkagising mo sa umaga, ano ang una mong ginagawa? Niyayakap o hinahaplos mo man lang ba ang iyong asawa? O una mong hinahawakan ang iyong gadget tapos diretsong social media?

🤔After you work, ano ang una mong ginagawa? Do you spend time with your spouse and kids or do you instantly isolate yourself?

🤔Kapag may extra budget ka, do you save, invest or spend automatically?

These are common habits we do everyday. At gaya nga ng sabi ko, our habits are either good ones or bad ones. Good habits help not just us, but also our loved ones, to grow and mature. Bad habits, on the other hand, destroy us inwardly (hindi natin namamalayan) and outwardly (gaya ng pagpupuyat gabi-gabi, too much gaming, unnecessary spending, etc.).

In marriage life, in order for us to really enjoy our journey, we need to develop right habits. 💯

As Dorcas and I are surrounded with couples na talaga namang tinitingala namin (these couples really enjoy their married life amidst their own imperfections, differences and humanity), we can’t help but notice the habits they make every day, which we also adopted.

The FIVE Aspects of LIFE 🌱

In our journey through life, thriving isn't just a goal; it's a necessity. To truly thrive, there are five key aspects we should focus on building.

1. Our Spiritual Life
This is the cornerstone of our existence. It’s where we find our deepest values and beliefs, the foundation upon which we build our lives. Nurturing our spiritual life provides us with strength and guidance.

2. Our Personal Growth
This involves taking care of our mental, emotional, and physical health. Just like a plant needs water and sunlight to grow, we need self-care and personal development to flourish.

3. Our Key Relationships
Our lives are enriched by the relationships we cultivate. It's important to invest time and effort into those relationships that mean the most to us, adding value to our lives and theirs.

4. Our Career
Our careers are more than just jobs; they’re our contributions to society. Finding fulfillment in our work can lead to a profound sense of accomplishment.

5. Our Financial Life
Money is a good tool and means to an end. Managing our finances wisely enables us to support our dreams and contribute to the greater good.

Balancing these five aspects isn't just about success; it's about creating a life that's rich, fulfilling, and meaningful. Let's focus on building these pillars to not just live, but to truly thrive in life.
