Our Story
Hi, My name is Gloria I. Umipig. Mariano Queyquep Umipig was my great uncle; my grandfather's brother. Apong Mariano gave the land to my Uncle Daniel Umipie who later donated the land to Nancayasan High School. To show their gratitude, the school officials re-named the school after Don Mariano Umipig.
As a favor to my Uncle Daniel, I have created this page for the school. It is our hope to share admin of this page to the current school faculty and student body president in order to network with alumni, past and current faculty, students, and friends who seek to improve the school and give back to the community that helped to mold them into responsible members of society.
As the school bears our legacy, we seek to continuously improve it in order to provide quality education to all deserving students. Generosity and charity are the core foundations of this school, and we hope that they will continue to fuel it's progress.
