— We reflect today on this passage from the Book of Psalms. It is easy to criticize a lack of faith and the tendency to rebel, but how often do we fail to trust God's Word? How frequently do we complain about what is happening in our lives?

Instead, we learn from our mistakes, harden not our hearts, and trust the Lord and his process.

Have a productive week ahead, IJAians!

🎨EMBRACE EVERY EMOTION THROUGH COLORS 💚💙❤️💜🤍💛

This Mental Health Month, let’s march together in a vibrant and colorful parade, each of us representing the different colors of our emotions. Just like in the movie Inside Out, our emotions come alive in bright colors, reminding us that mental health is a journey full of different hues and many shades.

Let’s raise awareness, break the stigma, and show that every emotion is valid. Together, we can paint a brighter, more supportive community! 🌈

- The key chemicals in our brain — Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins — play a crucial role in regulating our mood, motivation, and overall sense of well-being.

When these chemicals are in balance, we feel motivated, connected, and resilient. However, deficiencies can lead to issues such as anxiety, depression, fatigue, and social withdrawal. By engaging in activities that naturally boost these chemicals, we can maintain a healthier and happier mindset.

Go get your Daily DOSE of Happiness!

- Today we celebrate the Memorial of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, declared as a day of thanksgiving by Pope St. Pius for the Christian League. We remember this liturgical feast as a day of giving thanks. Through our Blessed Mother, may we always pray the rosary for strength, peace, and guidance "not as a burdensome task but as a life-giving prayer."

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, pray for us!

- Unplug and Disconnect 📱! Time away from the screen allows the brain to relax from digital overload, opens up space for more physical activity and face-to-face interaction and reconnects to the things that truly matter in nurturing a balanced online and offline life. Disconnecting for a little while reduces stress, allowing for more peace and calmness leading to a fulfilling lifestyle.

— Today, we celebrate the Memorial of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, commonly known as Padre Pio. He was an Italian Capuchin Friar who was marked by the stigmata, or the wounds of Christ, in 1918. He was said to have the ability to be in two places at the same time and is also known to heal people.

May his example remind us of the importance of Christ in our lives and the value of prayer in everything we do.

A blessed week ahead, IJAians!
