November 13. We celebrate today the birthday of Rev. Fr. Adonis L. Madanguit, Parish Priest of St. Isidore Parish in San Isidro, Pilar, Bohol.

It is known by everybody that the main and major project of the Parish at present is the Parish Pastoral Center and Rectory but due to super typhoon Odette our church Roofing and Ceiling were damaged and the Parish Finance Council has no choice but to decide to re align project funds to prioritize the roofing and further agreed to include the ceiling but due to financial crisis that is felt by most of the Parishioners, our mass collections and halad sa gugma also got dropped that could hardly financed bills and honorariums for church workers. .
In this connection, we are knocking again those people who has the capacity to help us accomplish our project and church repair. Any amount would always do as long as it is heartily given because God loves a cheerful giver. 😇

Hallelujah!!! Jesus Christ is Risen 😇😇😇

One of the heart breaking scenarios after the typhoon Odette is the devastation of our old and new churches.
However, we are RESILIENT and STEADFAST. Despite the situation, We were still able to manage to celebrate a mass on the afternoon of the following two days and able to resume "Misa de Gallo" at 5am on the next day until the 23rd and celebrate the midnight mass at 4:30 pm considering the churchgoers safety. But the challenge was not that easy because days after Odette we experienced continuous hard rains that always remind us that we have a destroyed roof as we witnessed the rainwater directly fell down from the sky to the floor while in the middle of the mass and that made us feel so emotional.
Even so, together with all the parishioners who were also victims of the destructive typhoon, we commit to rebuild, repair and stand up again to continue to move forward and fulfill our parish goals.
At this moment, the PFC has already allocated/realigned a certain amount for the repair of our church roofing structure and together with the PPC,we are also gathering donations intended for the parishioners who has the least capacity to repair and even rebuild their houses too.
In this connection, we welcome donations from you whether it be in monetary or construction materials. Any amount will be of great help to anyone who really needs it. Thanks to all who has given their donations. Ang GINOO ray magabalos kaninyo. Daghang Salamat.
