“Abante, Babae!” 💅🏼💜 Iyan ang nais iparating ng mga volunteers natin na BS Development Communication majors sa kanilang muling pagbisita sa Palo, Canaman. Ngayong buwan ng Marso, hangad nilang makasama ang mga bata ng Public Good Library sa pagdiwang at pagtangkilik sa talento, katalinuhan, at kakayahan ng mga kababaihan 💁🏻‍♀️🙌🏼 Sa munting pagtiripon ay maraming hinandang aktibidad at laro ang mga ate na tiyak nakapagpasaya at nakapagturo sa mga bata 🥰 Salamat, PGL Palo sa oportunidad na makapag-bahagi ng kaalaman sa kabataan! 📚

PART 5 || EATING TIME 🥣🧃

Whew, what an eventful day! 😮‍💨 The children are all pumped up and ready for the most awaited part of the day… 🫣😅 Can you guess what it is? 🤭 It’s eat’o clock! 🕙🍽️

At 10:50 PM, The 1st Year BS Development Communication Majors with the help of Kuya Edsel and Kuya Mike 💪🏼, prepared a meal and handed out drinks for the children 😋 The tasty champorado filled with warmth and love received a lot of praise, smiles, and refills 🫶🏼✨ The love in a homemade dish not only warmed stomachs but also hearts 🥹🤍

PART 4 || ORIGAMI MAKING 🗒️🪽
Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur

The reading ended and it was time for the children to play and get creative! 🤩🙌🏼 At exactly 10 AM, Sir Junnie shared wisdom on the history and beauty of the art in paper-folding, otherwise known as “origami” 🪭❤️ He led the activity with wit, humor, and patience! 👏🏼

The 1st Year BS Development Communication Majors became Sir Junnie’s little helpers 👫🏻 as they participated in the activity and demonstrated the correct way of folding a paper crane 🪽Happiness can be seen in the faces of the volunteers and the children 😊🫶🏼 as they worked together to unleash their creative spirits and artistic minds through the intricate art of origami making 🤝🏼🥰

PART 3 || LECTURE 👩🏻‍🏫🧑🏻‍🏫

The event started with a prayer from one of the volunteers for the event 🙏🏼 and was followed by the opening remarks of none other than our head of the project, Sir Ernest Assence 🤩🙌🏼

After all the formalities, the lecture began from reciting the alphabet 🔤, practicing words and sentences 🗣️, to reading and comprehending stories 📖 The volunteers from AdNU 1st Year BS Development Communication Majors have also performed an entertaining demonstration 😆👏🏼 while the narrator told stories 🤗 The children enjoyed the activities as they showed a great and enthusiastic response 🎉💞

PART 2 || PREPARATION 🗓️🫡

After the arrival of the 1st Year BS Development Communication Majors at Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur 😌💅🏼 the preparationfor the event was immediately taken into action 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻💨

The set-up of the venue 🤩, food 🥣, surprises 🤫, and all the reading materials were properly taken care of 🥰📚. Your ates 💃🏻 and kuyas 🕺🏻 have succesfully prepared all the necessities for the event! 🥳🔥

PART 1 || DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL 🚗💨
Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur
November 19, 2023 - 8:30 AM

The volunteers from 1st Year BS Development Communication Majors have now embarked towards their journey to meet the lovely children of Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur 🥰 The volunteers left Naga City at exactly 6:15 AM and arrived at Fundado, Canaman at exactly 6:30 AM 🕧‼️

The volunteers travelled 5 minutes 🫡 by small boat from Fundado to Barobaybay and proceeded to travel 5 minutes by tricycle to Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur 🛶🩵
