The officers attended the ACE AnR Recognition Day with the theme, "Soaring from Adversity towards Excellence, Igniting the Light of the Nation through Inclusive Leadership," last Thursday, 11 April 2024, at the Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resources Center (NALLRC) Bulwagang Balagtas.

Calling the attention of PUP COED Batch 2023 whose TORs are scheduled to be released beyond 16 January 2024—the deadline from Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for the submission of requirements for taking LEPT on 17 March 2024.

The COED Student Council will file a request letter to the department chairpersons to help with the expediting of the issuance of TORs; hence, a sensing form is provided to gather the names of the concerned graduates to be attached on the said letter. We all have struggled and overcame so many challenges this year some of which we are still struggling with. Let us be thankful for every tear cried, smile, conversations we poured our hearts into, and for every little thing that helped mold each of us to the stronger and braver yet, softer person that we are today. ✨

𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 | 𝗖𝗢𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦

Pirates have been a source of my fascination since I was a kid. To sail in high seas, exciting escapades, and hidden treasures always boosts my dream of becoming a pirate. I remember myself wearing this famous pirate eye patch with my sword stick riding my bed as my ship. "Arrgh!", "ahoy", "aye aye captain!", you would hear me screaming those words while pretending to be on a mission to find a hidden treasure which is located somewhere in my room—that place with an "x" mark. This dream of mine spiked even more when I get to watch cartoons about pirates. Probably my favorite show was Jake and the Neverland Pirates and my favorite character was Captain Hook.

You would hear me answering back to Jake whenever he asks the viewers for help and goes along with their usual spiel like that of Izzy's famous line "I got my pixie dust, fairies give it to me so we can use it to fly, but only in an emergency!". Time flew and things started to change within me like a normal youngster would do. At this moment you would probably expect me to give up my dream of becoming a pirate, but I did not. I know that this dream of mine lies somewhere deep in my inner child. Time discourages my childhood dream yet it will never fade away. It has always been there, waiting for that perfect moment for it to spark again. Who would have thought that that moment would happen in an unexpected time and unexpected place.
