SSG Elections 2023 Update| Here is the partial tally of votes as of June 1, 2023. The COMELEC together with the respective campaign managers from both parties conducted the canvassing and the initial results are are follows.

The election period will resume tomorrow, June 2, 2023.

The initial results for our SSG Election 2023 is coming right up! The CTU-AC COMELEC is now having the initial counting after the day's room-to-room voting along with the campaign managers of each partylist.

The first day of room-to-room voting for the SSG Election 2023 is being conducted by COMELEC today. Finally, voters from the various programs have made up their minds by casting their ballots for their chosen candidates.

Get ready to witness the next set of student leaders that will serve CTU-AC for the academic year 2023–2024. Tomorrow, June 2, will be the second day, so we hope to see you around and have the majority of the student body elect the new SSG leaders. VOTE WISELY!

May 30, 2023- The determination of our aspiring leaders shone through during yesterday's Miting de Avance 2023 held at CTUAC ground, proving that nothing can deter their commitment. Despite the dreary weather, they persevered and presented themselves, reinforcing their platforms to the live audiences. They exhibited their capability to address the issues and concerns raised by the crowd, showcasing their suitability for the desired positions.

Congratulations to all the running candidates for a job well done! You had accepted the challenge to showcase your potentials while aspiring to serve the studentry. Also, to the COMELEC Committee, with collaboration of the MIS for the technical support, for making the event possible. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the SSG and FSTLP offices as well as the Southern Ripples Publication who documented the entire event. Lastly, to the audiences who personally witnessed the event and raised their questions to the candidates.

This time, the student body of CTUAC will be the one to decide as to who will sit on the throne for the SSG positions and provide service for the next academic year. SSG ELECTION 2023 | END OF CAMPAIGN PERIOD

Time check! It's exactly 11:59 P.M., and as agreed, the campaign period for the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Election 2023 OFFICIALLY comes to an END. The CTU-AC COMELEC is now prohibiting the candidates and supporters to post campaign materials or engage in any campaign activities.

Two parties have showcased their initiatives in order to earn the support of Argao Technologists. We have witnessed how they expertly crafted their campaign materials and flaunt their credentials and platforms. They have filled the campus atmosphere with excitement as they articulate their speeches and prove their potentials. From then, we have already witnessed their capacities to lead and serve the studentry. However, only few will be chosen.

As we end our campaign, may you already have your bets as we exercise democracy. You are free to decide as to which of the aspirants are indeed deserving to sit on the SSG positions. Get ready for an entirely new phase of leadership as another set of possibilities arise. See you at the much-awaited Miting de Avance this May 30! VOTE WISELY.

CAMPAIGN PREP | MEETING WITH THE CANDIDATES

May 22, 2023, Monday— The CTU-AC COMELEC Committee conducted a brief orientation at the SR Office for the official candidates running for the SSG positions, the orientation was attended by the President and Vice-President of each party list, along with their campaign managers. The purpose of the orientation was to provide important reminders, guidelines, and final instructions for the upcoming campaign period, which will begin today.

Let the drum starts rolling as we unlock the door allowing aspirants to utilize their persuasive skills, and convince voters to favor them by showcasing their credentials and platforms in order to further enhance their service to our university. The filing of the SSG Certificate of Candidacy (COC) will now commence!

Tomorrow, May 17, will be marked as the official start of the COC filing period for SSG positions and will run up to the 20th day of May 2023, Saturday.

The only limit is your mind; you are already a leader of your own thus you have the power to fill in the highest student organization of the campus. Ignite that flame to provide your service to the student body. The CTU-AC COMELEC strongly encourages all aspiring leaders who choose to serve or wish to continue serving Cebu Technological University- Argao Campus to submit their applications for the 2023 SSG Election.

We are accepting WALK-IN applications so kindly hand the necessary documents to any member of our committee who will be stationed outside the SSG Office (formerly the BERKS Activity Center). We will start accepting applications tomorrow at exactly 1:00 in the afternoon.

Congratulations to all of the candidates of this year's elections, and a sincere thank you to all of the students who voted.

As of 3:00 PM, August 6, 2022, this is the current voting turn out. We've reached 728 votes!

As of now, Flores is leading with 483 votes in the presidency and Fuentes is leading with 489 votes in vice-presidency.

You have until 11:59 PM today to cast your votes.

It's finally election day!
Here are the guidelines for this year's FSTLP Elections in order to prepare all voters. Make sure to read them thoroughly.
1.) Separate google link will be made depending on the degree program.
2.) The link will be distributed via the department presidents' group chat. The department presidents will distribute the link to their respective departments.
3.) Use your CTU Gsuite account. Each student can only respond once.
4.) Cast your vote for your preferred candidates. President down to your respective college representatives.
5.) Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. on August 6.
6.) Vote turn-out update will be posted in the following timelines:

7.) Announcement of winners will proceed.
