Reactivated on Jan 24, 2024, the 124th Auxiliary Squadron of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, CGADNCR-CL epitomizes dedication to the PCGA's 4 core functions.
MARINE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (MAREP) ACTIVITY REPORT
On June 30, 2024, the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA), in collaboration with various esteemed organizations, successfully conducted a River Cleanup activity in Kaysakat, Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City. The event, which ran from 0600H to 1200H, was a significant effort to promote environmental stewardship and marine protection.
The event saw the participation of the Philippine Coast Guard, Coast Guard Substation Rizal, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) CGADNCR-CL, 124th and 102nd Squadron, and Payagwan Farmers Association and Agroforestry Inc.
The collective efforts of these organizations and volunteers have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to preserving our marine environment. Special thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a success.

PCGA 124th squadron participated in the 2nd quarter nationwide earthquake drill yesterday, 28 June 2024.
This drill assesses the effectiveness and preparedness of contingency plans, coordination, and evacuation procedures. It ensures that personnel are ready to protect lives, secure critical infrastructure, and support civilians during emergencies.

Grabeng pigil at gigil ng tropa ๐ฑ The resilient of self control was too insane. The sprit of a true warrior is to those who had an obedient heart and mind with respect to the chain of command and rules of engagement was properly observed.

On April 20, 2024, the Talim Island Medical and Dental Mission took place. CG COMMO ARNALDO LIM from CG NCRCL attended along with CGS Rizal Station Commander LTJG Alvin Austria, MARSLEC led by ENS Paul Lorenz Conahi and PENS Andre Yambao, CG Aviation Command led by CG LONG Patrick Jay Castilla, and CG PENS Justin Troy Gagarin.
The event was hosted by 107th Squadron and in collaboration with other squadrons coming from the 124th, 129th, 108th, 126th, 107th, 125th, 112th, 109th, and 115th. Participating teams included Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, Agbipa and PMAAP, Patricio Dental Group of Companies, HOG Philippine, Voltracom, DZRH Operation Tulong, and OKADA.
This mission concluded with total patients accommodated:
Pedia: 116
Adult/Geria: 159
Dental: 97
Surgical: 77 consultations, with only 62 successful tuli operations
Free eyeglasses: 187
Voluntary HIV screening: 12 (all nonreactive)
Total medical consultations: 275
Total Sagip Mata consultations: 111

The West Philippine Sea serves as a unifying issue for the majority of Filipinos. President Marcosโ commitment to transparency has allowed the Filipino people to stay informed about the developments in the WPS. This information has greatly awakened the sense of patriotism among Filipinos, resulting in overwhelming support for our government's efforts to assert our position in the West Philippine Sea. Regardless of political affiliation or regional origins, the majority of Filipinos now stand united in expressing their angered criticism and strong disapproval of China's provocative bullying in our Exclusive Economic Zone.
If you hold a high position in the government and have not yet expressed clear support for our Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine Coast Guard, and our humble Filipino fishermen, it is important to reflect on where your loyalty and patriotism truly lie. Let me clarify that we have embedded media personnel not to exaggerate the situation or demonize China in the eyes of the international community. We have embedded them because we have confidence in the transparency of our story and have nothing to hide from journalists who enjoy their constitutionally guaranteed right for freedom of speech.
