The school campus journalists of Bayawan City East Central School regular class obtained awards during "The Division School Press Conference " held on March 13-15,2024 at Bayawan National High School Junior High School,Villareal Bayawan Negros Oriental.This event was participated by 928 school campus journalists from the different schools of Bayawan City Division.
Kaye Zairah Calidguid champion on Science and Technology Writing in English and 5th place Danica Mitch Navale in Science and Technology Writing in English mentored by school paper Adelfa R. Remedios.
Mariey Eloise Caraig 2nd place of editorial cartooning,and 5th place editorial cartooning of Emil Sala mentored by school paper Eroll Galves.
4th place sports news writing in English Shamelle Española and 5th place sports news writing in English Hilarie Dhawn Gonzales mentored by the two school paper advisers that promote sportsmanship in school.

The Probe is the official publication of Bayawan City East Central School under the 1st year leadership of the young,active and brilliant principal Mr.Johnyrie B. Empeynado.
PROBE means
P-Pupils R-responsibility and O-opportunity B- building E-excellent campus journalism
School Paper advisers Adelfa R. Remedios grade six teacher and Eroll Galves grade five teacher both from regular class teachers' started to improve creative skill of students specifically in regular class and that empowers students to showcase their writing skills and voice their opinion.
The Probe was officially recognized by the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Anelito Bongcawil,schools Division of Bayawan City.
