We have decided to rename the main coworking space of Calle Uno, the place where you worked most at that you virtually lived out of, to honor of you. OFFICE TABLES FOR SALE. We’re happy to let one of our specially-made office tables go. The room where it is located will be occupied by a tech team with multiple monitors not single laptops. It cost us 10K to have this table made to our specifications. You may have it for half the price, 5K. BUKAS UMAGA GAGANDA. Three years ago, the Calle Uno Food Hub was featured in the ABS-CBN program “Umagang Kay Ganda”. We all woke up at 3AM to prepare a demo breakfast for the hosts. Right now, the food hub is in an upheaval due to a road widening. The city engineer took a tape measure, marked 10 meters from the centerline and then drew a line for the bulldozers. This one act alone, it ate up 300 meters of the property! This too shall pass, the Calle Uno Food Hub with reopen and will undergo a revival. All for the good! Only positive things in the coming weeks.

We have power today and will open until midnight.

LIVE WHERE YOU WORK. Work where you live. In this time that you need to keep safe by limiting your exposure and still get work done, this is a living-working arrangement worth seriously considering. We are currently putting the finishing touches on the first of three HOME OFFICES at Calle Uno. For 12K a month, you can live and work in these private rooms. Everything is included in this price—city services and internet. You also get to use for free spacious community spaces like meeting rooms, pantry and lounge areas. Food is not a problem. We have a coffee shop (Kape Take), a sausage and grill shop (Happy Bun) and a Taco and steak shop (Highland Smoke House) at the food hub downstairs. We can accommodate only three new members so it’s a case of first-come, first served.

A bright space wrapped in glass that can be a great working studio. It has a door and windows that open up to fresh air and sunshine. (Capacity: 3 people)

An office space that has a view of the city and windows that let in fresh air filtered by a 50-year old langka tree. Windows are decorated in Keith Haring inspired. (Capacity: 2 people)

A humungous office space with two walls of windows and a cityscape view. It is located on the top floor so it gets the most air circulation. It also has its own toilet and a stock/file room. (Capacity: 10 to 15 people)

A suite of two offices with a dedicated toilet. Located on the ground floor for easy access. Comes with a waiting room. (Capacity: 4 people per office).

A whole floor divided into glass spaces. A central space with fake grass carpeting and a wooden platform, a private office, a big training and audio-visual area, four fully-enclosed cubicles and a toilet. (Capacity: 25 people)

OFFICE SPACE AVAILABLE SOON. The YELLOW SPACE will be available in November 2021. It is the biggest office available in the Calle Uno Building and has a terrific view of the city. Lots of ventilation through jalousie windows and use of the Greens Area outside for reception.

CALLE GOING FORWARD. This is show Calle Uno looks like before we erected a roofing to protect us from sun and rain in the courtyard. The DPWH is about to do a road widening project that will impact the space up to the arch forcing us to dismantle the outdoor offices. While we are sad about this, we welcome the opportunity to remake Calle Uno into a better one. Without the offices, the air would be more free-flowing which means a safer environment for everyone. They will also demolish the building infront which will finally give us a view of Naguilian Road. On that space, they will erect a new Police Sub-Station which will mean better security for our members. All of these changes will revitalize the place, both the Shared Offices and the Food Hub. Only good things and positivity in the coming days.
