Today we celebrate the International Mathematics Day also known as βPi Dayβ in other countries because the date (3/14) corresponds to the mathematical constant Pi, which is approximately 3.14
This is to honor the contributions of mathematicians worldwide and promote the importance of mathematics in various fields. It coincides with the birthday of renowned mathematician, physicist, and scientist Albert Einstein.
This serves as a reminder of the beauty, significance, and universality of mathematics in our daily lives.

The core objective of Start-up QC is to nurture the development of innovative business models that have the potential to provide solutions to prevalent societal concerns. Through this program, the city government aims to empower QCitizens to leverage their creativity and ingenuity to tackle challenges and create positive change in their communities.
Open to both students and non-students, the Start-up QC program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality. The program consists of three distinct phases, each carefully curated to guide participants through the journey of transforming their innovative concepts into viable, impactful businesses.
In the Evaluation Phase, participants submit their business proposals for thorough assessment, with criteria such as innovation, feasibility, and potential societal impact being key factors in the selection process.
Selected participants then proceed to the Business Development Phase, where they receive mentorship, training, and resources to refine their business models, conduct market analysis, and develop sustainable strategies for growth and scalability.
Finally, in the Product Development Phase, successful candidates receive funding and support to further develop and execute their innovative products or services, culminating in the realization of their entrepreneurial visions.

We all love to sing along to Jingle Bells, but have you ever noticed that the song doesnβt have the word Christmas in it? Or Jesus or Santa Claus? Thatβs because it wasnβt originally a Christmas song! In fact, the jolly anthem was written in 1850, entitled One Horse Open Sleigh, for the American holiday, Thanksgiving!
