Isn’t the first day lit? New classes, new vibes, even some new fits maybe. But let's keep it real - being on time is key, mga Ka-Watch.

Think about it; you wouldn't want to be that person who comes rushing in late and disrupts everyone’s flow. It’s not even cool, and surely it ain’t a good look at all.

Besides, being on time is a total win-win. You get to chill out relax, get your vibe on and be prepared to crush the day. Plus you’re showing respect towards your teachers and classmates.

Here’s how to be punctual:

Set those alarms: Don’t be that individual who presses snooze five times before they scramble for their lives.

Pack up: The night before, have all your stuff together so you are not freaking out over missing anything.

Arrive early: Be that person who does not rush at the last minute. Just a few additional minutes will make all the difference.

While reminiscing can be comforting, lingering on what's passed is unproductive. This truth grounds us in the reality that our focus should be squarely on the present, not on what has been or what's to come. The past is set, unalterable and permanent. We can't return to alter or amend any aspect of it. As for the future, it's a puzzle yet to be solved, revealing itself only as time progresses.

Today, as we celebrate International Women's Day, Vinzons Pilot High School hosted a special program to honor all women, both teaching and non-teaching staff. Ma'am Teresita Orendain , affectionately known as the "Ilaw ng Tahanan" of our school, delivered a heartwarming opening remarks. Additionally, our esteemed guest speaker, Atty. Jelaine F. Segundo-Ardales, delivered an empowering speech that highlighted the capabilities of women and encouraged pride in being a woman. This event beautifully honored the invaluable contributions of women, not just within our school, but across the community as well.

Throughout history, women have been unfairly treated and often told, "Babae ka lang," as if to say they couldn't achieve as much as men. Now, we've been putting in the work and continue to strive to shift that mindset. It's important to understand that being a woman does not set limits on what can be achieved. Women are showing they can do everything men can do, highlighting the importance of gender equality.

Celebrating women's achievements helps to show that their successes come not because they are women, but because of their hard work, talent, and determination. Looking ahead, let's knock down those walls that hold women back, challenging those outdated gender stereotypes, and push for rules that treat everyone fairly, no matter their gender.
